The WRT350N Wireless-N Gigabit Router from Linksys is as powerful as it is versatile. As a wireless access point, it uses the latest Draft 802.11n wireless technologies offering greater range and data speeds than the older standards, (when used with compatible wireless adapters) while still being fully backwards compatible — perfect for mixed-mode environments.
The router's MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology also makes it a natural choice for multimedia fanatics, minimizing errors and optimizing data speed through the use of multiple antennas for both sending and receiving. There's a built-in four-port full-duplex 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet switch for wired connections to your network.
Add to that Linksys' Storage Link technology, which lets you connect a USB external hard drive or USB flash drive. This way you can allow multiple users on your network to access files of all kinds. A built-in Media Server takes that up a notch, giving you the ability to stream music, video, and photos from the attached storage device to any UPnP (universal plug and play) media adapter.

This was a good choice
- Pros: This router works just as it's supposed to. Gigabit lan, wireless-n. What more can I say.
- Cons: The usb storage thing is pretty slow, but no worse than other network storage devices in this pricerange. If you're dead-set on high speed network storage go spend a few thousand on fancier setup. If you just don't need it at all, go with the wrt300n.
- Other Thoughts: I use the dd-wrt v24 beta - the regular firmware just isn't as feature-rich. It just doesn't give me problems. I think the people who complain about this router just don't know what they're doing, or aren't willing to play around. And as a side note, the dd-wrt website rates this as the fastest broadcom router available.
happy with this
- Pros: Wow.... works wickedly awesome --- flashed with DD-WRT v24 beta... i primarily use it for a print server --- DD-WRT v24 doesnt support that out-of-download, but i installeed proper packages and p00f -- works like a charm! never really tried this on default linksys software, so no comment there
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: note -- i am using the EARLY june DD-WRT v24 (the 0603 i believe).... i havent upgraded to any of the newer releases, as i am realloy REALLY happy with the router as it is.. the gigabit ports just plain PWN, and were the primary reasons for me to upgrade!

Bang for the buck
- Pros: Great N-Draft design, firmware needs some more options but what stock router doesn't ?
Great speed and easy setup if your not in the know.
- Cons: As stated Linksys needs better firmware, but DD-WRT has that figured out, standard 24 worked wonders :)
- Other Thoughts: Get what you pay for, I have this and the WRT300N. Both seem to be rock solid units with both firmware options.
Great Piece of Hardware
- Pros: Fast, good range, nice feature set.
- Cons: Stock software (for install and router administration) is the pits
- Other Thoughts: Flash with DD-WRT. It will be faster and a cinch to maintain.
okay unit
- Pros: Had no problems setup. I recommend manual setup as auto loader is very slow and does not offer the needed options if you have any installations issues.
- it was priced well
- Cons: none as of yet.
- Other Thoughts: This is our first wifi unit. I have it in the basement currently, but plan on moving it upstairs shortly to maximize range.
- Have not hooked up USB drive yet

Highlights
 |
Wireless-N With Wireless-N (draft 802.11n), the farther away you are, the more speed advantages you get. By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rates, increases the range and reduces "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther and maintains wireless connections farther and faster.
|
 |
Gigabit Network Connection The LINKSYS WRT350N features 4 full-duplex 10/100/1000Mbps LAN ports to connect wired-Ethernet devices at up to gigabit speeds and lets your whole network share a single high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.
|
 |
USB 2.0 Support The LINKSYS WRT350N includes a Storage Link for adding gigabytes of storage space onto your network using available USB 2.0 hard drives, or plugging in a USB flash drive to access your portable data files.
|
 |
UPnP Support The built-in Media Server streams music, video, and photos from the attached storage device to any UPnP -compatible media adapter so you can get to your files from anywhere in the world through the Internet.
|
 |
Wireless Security To help protect your data and privacy, the LINKSYS WRT350N encodes all wireless transmissions with industrial-strength 256-bit encryption to help protect your data and privacy. It can serve as your network's DHCP Server, has a powerful SPI firewall to protect your PCs against intruders and most known Internet attacks, and supports VPN pass-through. Configuration is a snap with the web browser-based configuration utility.
|
 |
Connects with Centrino The Linksys WRT350N provides seamless wireless connection to your Intel Centrino Mobile-based notebook for accelerated file transfer speed, uninterrupted steam video enjoyment and faster, smoother net gaming experience.
