Cons: But when it doesn't work, Cisco does not support it.
Other Thoughts: I will never buy Cisco/Linksys products again! Two routers and each of them fail within 3 months after warranty. One dropped VPN connections from day one but it was out of warranty the day I bought it. The other worked fine for 14 months then started dropping a single connection. Upgraded the firmware, it started dropping all connections. Linksys will not support them.

What a piece of junk!

Pros: None. The bottom line is that hardware needs to function as expected. Attractive styling means nothing if the product doesn't work as expected.
Cons: I bought this as an upgrade to a very cheap D-LINK wireless router. The D-LINK didn't offer Wireless N and the Linksys did. Unfortunately none of the three laptops I needed to work with this device could get a sustainable network connection using B, G, or N, even when they were sitting right next to the router.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money.

Linksys is slipping

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Cheap and stylish. Carries the linksys name
Cons: I started with Netgear routers and gave up after many failures that happened after warranty. I have been thrilled with my WRT-54G linksys router but wanted gigabit internally. I am severly disappointed with this router. When I upgraded to the latest firmware that has been available for 10 months, I found that there is a javascript error that prevents saving of open ports (there is a workaround posted in the forums). 10 months and no fix to that? Off to a bad start. I had two failures in a week where I had to pull the plug and reboot. My WRT-54g NEVER failed in 2 years. I read that the unit overheats because of the design. I can't have downtime so I bought a DLINK DGL-4100 gaming router and swapped out the unit only to smell it and it smells like hot/burning plastic. The wireless range with the internal antenna is not as good as the wrt-54g's external antenna. I guess I should have read the reviews before purchasing.
Other Thoughts: The quality of this product is not up to linksys standards and I would advise to stay away.
