WRT-160n V3 great with DD-WRT

Pros: Sleek design and great TX and RX power.

Cons: Linksys stock firmware not very good. No bridge or access point option available.

Other Thoughts: I bought 3 and load each one with DD-WRT firmware. 1 primary and 2 client bridged. One client is running in my entertanment center connecting my PS3,Xbox360,Wii and DirectTV HD DVR wirelessly to the primary. The second in them bedroom connecting the HD DVR to the primary. Everything has been rock solid for the 2 months I've been running this setup in N only mode. The best thing you can do is dump the stock firmware and run the DD-WRT firmware.

Terrible, terrible product

Pros: Looks good.

Cons: Everything else. What a piece of garbage. As i am typing this review, the internet connection is dropping randomly. Tried everything, but the software just can't work with the hardware, constant ip conflicts and dropped wireless connection, completely unusable if you do anything that requires a constant connection, like playing an online game or watching hulu.

Other Thoughts: I don't know how linksys would like something like this get out of their warehouse. From the underwhelming reviews and number of hits i get when looking for solutions, this is hardly an isolated event. I am truly disappointed considering what cisco and linksys have done for computer networking, historically speaking. This is a sham. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ROUTER.

Pros: Looks nice and seems like it would be fast. especially being a cisco device.

Cons: Everything about this router is bad. its like it has a mind of its own. I have the WRT160Nv3 that i just got back from linksys due to problems connecting. I called them payed for them to send a new one out and then returned mine in order to get my refund back. connected it and it work for like a day. It will be doing fine than all of a sudden BAM! poor connection, like i was back on a Dial up connection through aol(lol i think they were faster) I have high speed comcast cable for my ISP. Just not worth the headaches that comes with this device.

Other Thoughts: wish they would make something that actually works half of the time.
