Manufacturer Limited Warranty period (parts): 1 year
Manufacturer Limited Warranty period (labor): 1 year
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Nice looking
Cons: firmware sucks!!
Other Thoughts: This is a "DD-WRT" compatible router. Type in "dd-wrt" in your browsers seek window and follow the directions for the Linksys WRT160N Router. I made this change on my router and it was like getting another router. It cleared up a lot of issues that everyone is complaining about. Trouble free for over a year.

Great with DD-WRT
Reviewed By: mercedes91 on 11/3/2009
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: This router works great with DD-WRT
Cons: Without DD-WRT this router sucks, I would always get disconnected when playing with my PS3, and when I was on my laptop it would go slow and eventually stop working.
Other Thoughts: I love this router with DD-WRT it works like a champ and I have not restarted it for about 3 months when I flashed it with DD-WRT. I can run an xbox, a PS3, 3 wireless laptops, and 3 desktops all at the same time without a decrease in speed or signal.

Trying to fix it right now
Reviewed By: Alex on 11/3/2009
Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: This router is utter junk. I should have returned it when I first got it and had issues, I thought since it took me a few hours to get through them, they wouldnt come up anymore. I actually ended up not needing it for many months, and now I'm trying to set it up again, and the thing is almost completely locked up. I'm sure I'll have it fixed by tonight, and I'm sure it will screw up again in a little while. First and last time with Linksys.
