Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Simple setup as compared to the Polycom ip phones. You can change settings quickly using the web interface also.
Cons: None yet. I hope they resist power fluctuations better that the polycoms of which I had one fail after each electrical storm we have had in Michigan.
Other Thoughts: I was unaware that the package did not include the power adapter so I had to find some alternatives while I ordered the pa100-na power adapters that are for this phone.

Very good phones
Reviewed By: nathan on 6/29/2009
Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: *Inexpensive SIP PoE phone *Good sound quality *Easy to use
Cons: a bigger screen might be nice
Other Thoughts: When we first bought these phones the speakerphone volume was somewhat low, but if you upgrade to the newest alpha firmware 6.15a or something it fixes that issue. The 6.15a firmware seems to be fairly stable and I haven't found any issues considering it is an alpha firmware. I typically wouldn't use an alpha firmware in a business setting but it was necessary to fix the speakerphone issues. I would recommend going ahead and using the alpha firmware.

Overall a great phone
Reviewed By: luki on 5/21/2009
Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: We have several hundred of these deployed at various locations. They work very well and are reliable. Once put into service, they just work and don't cause any trouble. Our users like them. The phone (like all Sipura-series devices) is very configurable and can be easily managed from a central provisioning server (if you have one) -- easy to make your own with Apache and either XML or the provided profile compiler.
Cons: Couple things could be better: 1) speaker phone is OK but not great by any means (overall low volume) 2) screen could be a little bigger
If you use a speaker phone a lot, you should consider another phone.
Other Thoughts: The main differences to the 941 are: 1) Two ports allow daisy-chaining (although phones down the chain will reboot when this phone reboots) 2) Backlit display (important!) 3) POE support and no power adapter included ($5 extra)
The transfer procedure take a bit to get used to :).
