4 out of 5 eggsWorth it, just follow directions

Pros: It does exactly what it says. I live in a 2 unit condo building. My modem is on the 2nd floor and I wanted internet in my basement for a small office. I have cable and I'm running 3800kb/s two levels down and across the condo without the hassles of wireless.

And Linksys has 24hr phone support which I used and received good information.

Cons: Not blazing fast but still plays Hulu and Youtube perfectly.

Other Thoughts: In order for this to work you must use the PLTE2000 to connect to the internet and use the PLTS200 in the other receptacles you want the range extended.

So look, I'm going to save you a headache that I had:

Modem connects to router. Use open spot in router to plug in the PLTE200. Plug PLTE200 directly into wall. Use a PLTS200 (or a few) wherever else in your home or socket that is connected to your breaker panel. Begin surfing.

You MUST have these things plugged directly into a socket, it won't work with a power strip. Even if you're way out in the garage, as long as both receptacles these things are plugged into are on the same breaker panel, you're fine.
