5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: Needed to upgrade the company desktop with a 5GHz radio (less interference). Linksys was the first brand that came to my mind. Selective dual band with 300Mbps. Installation was easy, and the performance was pretty solid. Nothing to complain about.

Cons: Nothing really!

Other Thoughts: Since this product is based on the Ralink chips, I would suggest to install the latest Ralink drivers for the best performance.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy if you usa WPA!

Pros: It's compact. Sort of.
Compatible with windows 7 64bit

Cons: - Has a terrible signal. Issues picking up wifi from a router ONE ROOM AWAY. When at the other side of the house, it was barely above one bar!
- NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WPA. It's ridiculous, if a adapter is sold now days, ti cant have WPA2 listed in its name and not be able to access WPA connection.
- Does not ANYWHERE mention this limitation.

Other Thoughts: I spent a good couple hours trying to figure out why this wouldn't pick up, as the thought of it not doing WPA didn't even cross my mind. It's a $80 adapter before sale, not exactly something you cheaped out on to get. It's not even worth $30. It's a joke that the only reason I'm forced to waste the money to buy this is because for some reason windows 7 64bit is incompatible with older network adapters, despite the 32bit OS being perfectly compatible.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for a while

Pros: Worked great while it worked.........

Cons: Died within 4 months. Linksys is honoring the warranty and replacing the unit - BUT - they replace it with a refurbished unit. So if this died the day I received it, that means I get a refurb replacement?? Not good.

1 out of 5 eggsNot the card for me....

Pros: Work good for a month and died.

Cons: Here we go....For a month things were humming along. Then IT happened. The dropped connectivity. The low data transfer rates. And when I say slow downloads it took 35 seconds to load the google page!!!!!

Other Thoughts: If your running XP(i'm sorry for you)or 2000( again I'm really sorry for you) then this is the card for you. DO NOT BUY THIS CARD if you are running windows 7 or 8. ESPECIALLY WINDOWS 8 in any BIT size. THis card is a load of bunk on the forums anyways.DO NOT BUY!!!!

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work for me

Pros: - Um, none that I can think of.

Cons: - Never worked

Other Thoughts: Looks like this thing has very mixed reviews so maybe it will work for you, maybe it won't. I got it to see the signal, connect, but then it would just be SOO impossibly slow. Or it wouldn't even see the signal at all. Or it would drop me, etc, etc....

Didn't work at all for me, I just threw it in a drawer.

1 out of 5 eggsBad

Pros: Not much

Cons: Purchased this to upgrade from my ancient linksys usb adapter. After installing the new card, the speeds were at an atrocious 1Mbps. My old usb adapter pulls 100-120. After googling for the problem, hunting down drivers, and toying with router settings (all different possible "fixes" found from google) I managed to boost the speed to a measly 5.5Mbps.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend this card to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggswireless-wonder

Pros: Fantastic "just works the first time" card. Make sure you install windows 8 updates completely because one of their bug fixes actually allows this card to work correctly.

Cons: There are none. After I figured out the patch thing of Windows 8 it was .. snap .. fantastic.

3 out of 5 eggsSlow and steady

Pros: It works?

Cons: Any interference, including people and the pc case itself slow this down. Horrible signal. Get better signal with usb wifi.
