5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: very good range. I live in a concrete house (not some wallpaper/wood house like most American homes), and this router covers it much better than my previous netgear router (very close to covering the whole house). It is great. If your house is made out of wallpaper it will probably cover it completely. I recommend this router.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsgood for the first year

Pros: Works well, fast as advertized

Cons: Died after about 1 year. All lights blinking. Rebooting helped a few times, now nothing.
I think it overheated. It didn't see heavy use, nor was it stuffed in a closet or crowded. It was on a dry counter with good circulation.

Other Thoughts: A wireles router that costs > $50 shouldn't die after 1 year.

2 out of 5 eggsWireless Keeps dropping connection

Pros: When connected to the wireless, it worked like a charm.

Cons: Wireless kept dropping signal like a bad habit. I did everything Cisco/Linksys website troubleshooting said to do to fix it. Nothing worked; switched to newer firmware, set up own settings in default web browser.. nothing helped.

Other Thoughts: Was thinking about flashing dd-wrt, but ill probably just purchase a refurbed/open box and do it on that instead. RMA'ed this unit.

1 out of 5 eggsAt first good then problems started

Pros: Easy to setup. Wired connections are great

Cons: I've had this router for about 6 months now and a known problem of dropping wireless connections started happening. It's random and the wired connections have 0 problems. I did not know about the wireless connection issues before purchasing this product. It is a physical problem with the router and Linksys won't acknowledge the issue. Buyer beware do a Google search for "E1000 connection issues"

1 out of 5 eggs4 Months then died

Pros: Sleek looking. Worked when it worked

Cons: I bought this for an apartment I share with four people and it died a couple of days ago. I can't even log into the router to see what is wrong. I tested it at every ethernet port in the apartment to make sure something wasn't wrong with our internet.

Other Thoughts: I feel this is an anomaly, but still.

2 out of 5 eggsI expect better

Pros: Good* Connectivity, easy GUI, stylish

Cons: Have had problems with Xbox LIVE since day one. I cannot get this setup with our three Xboxs to have Open networks. Have called Support several times and the first two times was told it was my ISP. When we connect the Xboxs directly into the modem we all get Open networks. The second time I called they offered to replace it so I exchanged it just to recieve something with th e exact same problem. The final time I called support they said they were going to forward my problem higher up in the comapny. That was several months ago and I never heard anything back.

Other Thoughts: Very dissappointed in the product and Customer Service. I expect more from the worlds leading company in Networking

Cons: Didnt come with Beer.

Other Thoughts: Definetly the best buy for price and options.
