Pros: Works as it should. Fast gigabit speeds to my server. I run voice over IP in my home it it works well on this switch. I also stream HD video to my television and PCs. Never a problem with this switch. Prioritizes traffic as it should.
Cons: As others have said the design leaves a bit to be desired. No LEDs on the front. The plug takes up two spaces on a home power strip. It's so light that the cables tend to want to drag it off the table it sits on.

Does not work with VOIP
Pros: It worked for basic internet and peer-to-peer file sharing like it was supposed to.
Cons: Design was terrible. Difficult to plug in and out as well as see the lights. The product was very lightweight which makes me think it's cheaper material than similar switches.
Other Thoughts: I am a computer tech and purchased 2 of these switches to try out as I like to stick with the Cisco/Linksys line and see how they stood against the DLink DGS-2205 series switches. Dlink was far superior a switch.

Pros: Works good for now.
Cons: The engineer or designer is as dumb as they come. All lights are in the back of the switch. What good is that? Is it in case of emergency turn it around? Even the plug for the power supply has no thought built into it. It takes up the space of 2 receptacles
Other Thoughts: Redesign this unit. Looks like linksys needs some Apple influence. The design is utter garbage.

Pros: This is a very nice/quick 5 port switch with gigabit speed. I use the Linksys E3000 with a Motorola surfboard extreme with 20.0 net connection. I purchased this to wire the few wireless devices I have in the bedroom (panansonic blu ray player, samsung 46C630 lcd). I have been running the Xbox 360 wirelessly with no HD Netflix streaming issues but decided to hard wire it with this switch and it was a good decision. The system as a whole is more responsive. I also run a 50 foot cable to my PC and it has no drop whatsoever and I have seen consistent or higher speedtest ratings with this switch! Very glad I got this to include my other components. I will probably purchase another one for the living room as well.
Cons: The only con is the LEDS are on the back of the unit where the cable inputs into the ports. It would have been nice to put them on the front/top of the unit for more functionality but oh well.
