Good choice, works with linux
- Pros: Works very well, External antenna works great. Easy insert into PCI, windows installation using CD went fine. Linux installation was even easier (Take it windows).
- Cons: For the money, ok purchase. rebate is a pain.
- Other Thoughts: Using Kismet in Debian Sid I found over 40 networks.... Adding a directional high gain antenna just for fun. Atheros Chipset, MadWiFi driver used in linux.
Win 7 64bit PCI Wireless Card
- Pros: Works out of the box w/ Windows 7 64 bit. Don't install anything that comes with it, just open the box, install the card, turn on the system and windows 7 will automatically find and install the 64bit driver that makes this card work. It's just that simple.
- Cons: None. It does exactly what it's supposed to, and trust me, after looking around for a week on the internet looking for a PIC wireless card that works with win 7 64bit, I'm here to tell you, it's a lot more rare than it should be, so jump at the opportunity to pick up a trouble free solution to your desktop wireless needs.
- Other Thoughts: I bought two other cards and returned them attempting to find a PIC wireless card that win 7 64 bit would recognize, because believe it or not, the drivers, even the vista 64 bit ones, did not work.

- Pros: The only pro for card is it comes with Low Profile bracket. If you need low profile get the linksys WMP600N worth the extra money.
- Cons: Card would connect to my network have excellent signal strength, but was sloooooooooow, I am talking five minutes to load google slow. I RMA’ed it the same day I had it went to best buy and got the linksys WMP600N and works great.
- Other Thoughts: Dlink has some good wireless devices; this is not one of them
