Pros: I made a backup firewall out of a mini-PC and I needed 3 NICs (on board the PC there is only one). So I picked up to of these USB NICs. Inexpensive, stable connection and works seamlessly with OpenBSD, exactly what I was looking for

Pros: Works well for what it is.

Cons: Has some issues with the Linux ARM kernel, specifically the Asix chipset.

Pros: Works perfectly with Windows 8. I have version C. I used the drivers that came on the disk, and after installation, it worked like a charm. Getting the same speeds on this Acer Aspire as my desktop with an internal network card.

Cons: I wish the USB cable was a little longer. A retracting cable would be even better.

Other Thoughts: It's not fancy, but it does what it's supposed to. For those of us who have a netbook/notebook that does not have a built in network card, nor an available wireless connection, this is a must. I normally would not choose a notebook such as this (Acer Aspire V5-122P-0889), but I received it free as part of the emachines class action settlement, so I can't complain.

Pros: Nice and compact. Loved the look and size.

Cons: Didn't work at all in Windows 8. And before you try, take it from me, I already tried installing the Win7 drivers, disabling driver signing, everything. I got it all the way to sending packets, but it could not receive, and then on a reboot it didn't even light up anymore.

I emailed tech support and got back a "DUB-E100 is not compatible with Win 8" generic message.

I've returned it with no hassle (Thanks NewEgg) and bought a N82E16833328025 and it's working perfectly.

Other Thoughts: Unless you never plan on having Windows 8 or you're reading this in the future and DLink has released a driver, don't buy.

Pros: The unit pictured in the Add works great I have several for may years no Problem. What NewEgg sent me was a Small Black Dongle with the same UPC code. It is misleading to attach the wrong photo of a product. I have called NewEgg and Dlink and they do not have any answers to my question if the unit is exactly the same. I have been using this (older version) to connect to POE network DLink claims this could not work for that, but I have been using it for three years with no problems. You get what you pay for. Dlink Support does not know what the product is.

Cons: No Support since the feature is not specifically listed in the DubE100.PDF.

Other Thoughts: Spent Hours getting to an answer on DLink support and NewEgg support site after NewEgg "Callback" I was put on Hold and was cycled into the You must get "Called back" on my "Called back" call. I hung up. Time is money Pay me and I will tell you what I think.

Cons: DOA. dont bother buying. At firs it says that it came with 60 day warranty, i checked like 2 weeks after purchase it said that it had to be handled with the manufacturer. Im not pleased by Newegg for that.

Pros: Easy to install for me on both XP and Windows 7. I needed an extra NIC on some Industrial control machines and they worked perfectly. Loaded the drivers upon detection and assigned IPs. Could not have been better.

Cons: bulky

Pros: Just wanted to leave a note for folks using OpenBSD. This works out of the box on a stock OpenBSD 5.0 installation. Recognized with the axe0 moniker.

I ran out of PCI slots, and needed to dangle this on the back of a system running the pf firewall.

Cons: None.

Pros: Cheap, small, quick plug and play in Windows 7 64-bit

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Is being used as a backup ethernet port for an executives laptop that seems to have problems only when in Japan. This device is providing peace of mind.

Pros: Fast does not drop packets.

Cons: Install has issues. Do not use the CD included.
