Newegg wouldn't take it back since I didn't have the original box, so I had to deal with RMA'ing it to Dlink which was a nightmare in itself. The one they sent me (which I'm pretty sure is brand new) has a dead port (#3) as well...and they call this "business class"? This will be the last Dlink I buy. Did you find this review helpful? Ax 10/27/2012 8:17:48 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Exactly what you would expect. Pros: 4 POE ports Gb ports + 4 normal Gb ports, low power usage, and silent. Exactly what you would expect. Powers up a Cisco phone as well as two POE Network security cams no problem. According to kill-a-watt it uses much less power to power things via POE as opposed to power bricks. Cons: Costs about 4 times what a non POE 8 port switch costs. Other Thoughts: I didn't see any indication of poor build quality or experience any problems. Cons: Cheap and Poor construction, almost looks like a knock off as oppose to an original Dlink!
