5 out of 5 eggsWorks Good as Subnet Router

Pros: Bought the routers to use for sub-netting client networks and tho place behind Internet Modems. Works well, Firewall, OK for the way it is being used. Clients Happy, Placed Comcast router as Perimeter Router, with firewall enabled and reduced a number of issues with network instability.

Cons: Humm !!!!

Other Thoughts: Works well for now will probably need to change out in a few years as Clients needs grow.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage - Didn't Work

Pros: Was cheap and I can use it to throw at things.

Cons: Doesn't work. Won't communicate with modem, likely due to a busted Internet jack.

Other Thoughts: Took a chance with a inexpensive refurb unit and got burned. Learn from my mistakes; even if the money doesn't hurt you, why bother with the lost time of hassling with returns?

Pros: Easy to set up.
Range is good enough for what I want.
Got everything in the box just like it was new.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I use Ubuntu linux so I used the web based app to configure the router. I had it done in less than 10 min.

5 out of 5 eggsD-Link Wireless N Refurb router

Pros: Looks like new. Works. Already has latest firmware update.

Cons: None so far, and not really expecting any for a basic Wireless N router. At the price I picked it up for on sale, f it goes bad, no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Works out of the box. Easy to set up as Wireless N300. Gave a nice range boost to our mechanics wireless system in the shop. Our signal is good from one end to the other and it's a big shop.
