1 out of 5 eggsWasted Money!

Pros: The only pro is it blocks kids from putting things into the electrical socket.

Cons: Worked for a few days before it quit. Had PS3 running through it until I noticed that its signal strength was 10% less than if I just ran it off the WI-FI connection it was supposed to be boosting. There's $50 I'll never see again. First and last product I buy from D-Link.

5 out of 5 eggs Awesome Product!

Pros: Setup took me a whole 5 minutes to do. This device is great and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Don't think, just buy it. It even has the feature to push the WPS one-button setup if manual setup is not a feasible option.

Cons: Just that I didn't buy this earlier.

Other Thoughts: Great Product.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: None, it just doesn't work.

Cons: It seems DLink rushes all their products to the market. This repeater does not work. Plain and simple. Its setup but when a device switches to it, you have no internet connectivity. You can get into the config all day long, but it still doesn't work. Stay away, but anything but DLink products. You'll be happier.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Tiny, takes no space in your breifcase, does give you a consistent 5 bars signal. It is fairly easy to configure. Not expensive.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Very often, I need to travel and have to do tech support remotely, wifi in hotel is always very touch and go. This week I had a lot of work to do and it was aweful. I found that device, plugged it in, you need to read the manual, don't try to guess it though. You really need to wait for the light changing color. Then you configure the thing, and from a weak 2 bars connexions that would go off every 30 minutes, I got a solid 5 bars for days. It will not increase the speed of the hotel router obviously but you will not get disconnected and the signal will be consistent. Really worth the 50 bucks. I use a beefed up SONY series S laptop and Windows 8 64 bits.

1 out of 5 eggsWorks mostly - Updated

Pros: none - Unless this gets a firmware update to fix it I am going to give it to someone I don't like

Cons: I originally wrote that this slowed down or lost connection every day or two. That was when it was working well. Every night I would get home from work and the family would be frustrated because they could not get onto the internet when they were connected to the DAP 1320. If they went nearer the router they could connect again. I finally unplugged the unit because it is better living with the weak signal. It often needs to be unplugged and plugged in again to reboot because you cannot even connect to the unit. I will often work for only a few minutes before it loses connection again. I'm sorry I spent the money on this.

3 out of 5 eggsOkay, but has issues

Pros: Works mostly

Cons: When I first set it up it would not load the configuration page until I had uplugged it and plugged it in again. Quits responding every 2-3 days or download speeds drop to almost nothing and needs rebooted. Sometimes will not respond enough to load into browser and reboot, then I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

Other Thoughts: Normally like D-Link products and this is extending a D-Link DIR-628 so I expected it to work better than it does, but it does not seem like the DAP-1320 was ready for release. I'm hoping a firmware update fixes this.

4 out of 5 eggs works well had to configure it few times though

Pros: Works well, fits well in the space of a socket so doesn't cover other sockets. I find d-link products generally of good quality for the price.

Cons: Took few run at config before it actually synched properly with the router I would have expected it to take less effort since the router is d-link as well. Had to set it up from the software in the end. Working fine now. It's not dual band, for some reason I thought it was.

1 out of 5 eggsJUNK

Pros: portable

Cons: JUNK... keeps dropping signal, even when I plug it in within eyesight of router. unable to stream video, with 1.5mbps. Appears to be TOTAL JUNK. Dont waste your time or $$$$$

Other Thoughts: waste of plastic.
