4 out of 5 eggsWorks well, a good value.

Pros: Very stable, I have used it for about 4 months and have never had to reboot
Reasonable fast
Good coverage in 5ghz mode
good support the one time I needed it-

Cons: needed to call support to set it up
Indicator light are very dim hard to see them

Other Thoughts: I had a good experience with this product. I needed to call support to get it set up. They were quick and responsive and were able to get the job done in 10 minutes. Since then no reboots or and interruption in service. Just works. For $29 and free shipping it is hard to beat.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Cheap price-but money down the drain--is not at all reliable

Cons: chose because of D-Link routers I have owned and for dual band coverage--this thing is garbage--unstable and needing daily reboot--signal coverage was awful--installed latest firmware-but did not help--going in the trash

Other Thoughts: Do not buy at any price

1 out of 5 eggsAwful

Pros: None that I can see anymore.

Cons: Wi-Fi signal is spotty at best, seemed like a great deal at the time but now within a month it has become garbage.

Other Thoughts: Good example of too good to be true is how I would sum up my experience in the month that I have owned it. I have gone back to my Linksys router, which wasn't great to begin with, still beats this thing out on reliability.

1 out of 5 eggsWhen you buy DLink don't expect user friendliness or basic features

Pros: - Beautiful looking device
- Cheap

Cons: - No easy AP mode or wireless bridge configuration
- GUI is not user friendly at all
- Not many online resources for configuration details or help
- Forum denizens from DLink seem snarky and unhelpful

Other Thoughts: So I bought this router to temporarily use as an AP since it was cheaper than most APs when I saw it on sale, what I got was a configuration nightmare that I gave up because clearly the configuration was not going to be worth the hassle. So there is not AP or wireless bridge mode that is easily configurable, I had to go on the DLink forums, which did not have this specified router, and when I tried looking for my issue I noticed that a.) one of the forum DLink Super Users or whatever they were called were being snarky to someone that was asking the questions I needed answering, which brings us to b.) the snarky person implied that DLink has taken these modes out of their products and they gave the answer "if you wanted an AP then you should have bought an AP" and that "DLink took the AP mode out because nobody wants that function and it takes away from the functionality of the router" or something to that extent, this is a basic function of a wireless router not some useless feature. This is actually the second DLink router that I've had that when I went to use this function it was not there, the first was one of their gamer fuel routers from several years ago, and until they put this feature back in and make their GUI's a little more user friendly I'm not going with DLink for my networking needs again until they put in little more foresight into their products to help provide for their customer's basic needs in a router, which is a shame because they have some pretty awesome looking routers.

4 out of 5 eggsEasy setup, works as I'd expect for this type of router

Pros: -Pretty much just plug and play
-5Ghz band works darn well
-Covers my small apartment completely

Cons: -The 2.4 Ghz band seems to have a bit of a lag on my iPhone. It takes a second or two sometimes to begin loading images but is pretty fast when it does start loading. I don't notice this at all on the 5Ghz.
-No Gigabit ethernet

Other Thoughts: I picked this up on sale for $30 to replace a router I got about 5 years ago (also for about $30). For that price I think it's a great deal if you don't need a fancy router. Don't expect this to cover a large area but if you've got a small apartment it should work well.

4 out of 5 eggsGood product at a great price!

Pros: 30 bucks was my selling point. So far works great and getting better speed and range than my 5 year old Lynksys.

Cons: Configuration could be easier but if you have some knowledge of routers you won't have a problem. If you don't set up could be tricky.

Other Thoughts: On sale for 30 bucks you can't go wrong. Good speed and range, worth the money.
