Only needs a 4x slot. Cheap. Cons: Does not support any IPv6 offloads... at all. The linux driver is not in the mainline kernel and must be built and loaded manually. I wanted to ding the card more than 1 egg because of these deficiencies but if you hit the card's sweet spot it works like a champ. Other Thoughts: You are asking for trouble if you try to run a lot of IPv6 bandwidth through this card due to the lack of offloads. Did you find this review helpful? Cons: Does not support any IPv6 offloads... at all. The linux driver is not in the mainline kernel and must be built and loaded manually. I wanted to ding the card more than 1 egg because of these deficiencies but if you hit the card's sweet spot it works like a champ.

Other Thoughts: You are asking for trouble if you try to run a lot of IPv6 bandwidth through this card due to the lack of offloads.
