Pros: This adapter provides a strong 5 Ghz signal to an access point for my notebook. The notebook does not have 802.11ac but now it does and that's the reason that I bought the adapter. The 2.4 Ghz band is very strong as well.

Other Thoughts: Windows 10 did not discover the device. I went into Device Mgr and found that it was listed, opened it and clicked on Update Drivers and that worked. The adapter has the Death Star look, which is a novelty and a topic of conversation. Nice that the adapter was on sale.

Pros: I've been using it for about 9 months. Plug and play, no special tweaking or configuration needed. It operates on 2.4 and 5 GHz. I use it for gaming and it works great. I ran speed tests and they compared almost identically to my wired results. My home WiFi router is Verizon FiOS.

Cons: None. No point in searching for a gripe - it works great.

Other Thoughts: Wireless networking by nature is not perfect. Your environment can have RF signal challenges like plate glass windows, metal ducts, mirrors, microwave oven, brick/mortar/asbestos, RF activity from other devices/sources which also reduce bandwidth throughput, and more. So investigate your situation if it the connection seems faulty.

Pros: works great, nice blue led glow, windows 10 loads the drivers automatically

Cons: nothing, it works as expected

Pros: Just about everything about this is a pro especially for under fifty bucks!

Cons: Yest a Windows10 install did require some interaction. No big deal

Pros: Round like a sphere, or an orb.

Cons: No windows 10 support or O/S even listed on dlink web site.
Drivers will not install even when "Trouble shoot" and test is done with windows 8,7, and the dreaded vista.
So here I sits and feel like I just got the short end of the shaft on this deal.
Not much to say about the AC 1900 super usb 3 if it will not work according to directions.
But the dlink site offers the small glimmer of hope in the offered phrase
"Coming Soon" (only they dont define soon...
Soon to the may fly is very quick indeed...but soon when speaking in a cosmological time frame is beyond the comprehension of
of most all of mankind.

Other Thoughts: Just got thru jumping the hoops....
Driver disk would not install....
Went to the web site and downloaded the drivers in zip file.
then installed from there....
Works fine for now but Dlink should note on the support page for this product the
steps to make it work...I had to go reading on their support forum to find the walk around.

Pros: D-link has made me very happy! This DWA-192 is very stable, and has increased my mps to 546 from 326. In 3 min. it was set up and completely running. My Router is a ASUS AC1900 RT-AC68U. I had Netis 3.0 USB AC1200 adapter WF2561 before Good unit but even better now with the DWA-192. My ASUS is 2 floors below. Signal strength is not as good with the DWA-192 91% WF2561 98% but overall very happy with the purchase of this DWA-192. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Other Thoughts: The Power cable is a bit too short for my needs. If it were 2' more in length that would make it even better.

Pros: This adapter is very stable, has good signal strength and a good data rate. Works well in various areas of the house.

Cons: I did have some initial issues with the setup on one of my computers. After some troubleshooting, I figured out that it was the USB 3.0 controller driver for the motherboard that was causing the issue. After updating, the adapter was stable with no disconnects.

Other Thoughts: Overall very good product, works better than my old netgear a6210 1300ac wireless adapter.

Pros: Was worried about Windows 10 drivers - no problem - go to dlink's website and pull the driver from 10/7/15 and all good. Works on 3 of my laptops all with windows 10 build 10565. Exceptional coverage on 5g - I am getting 1.3 Gb/S connect to my Asus RT-AC87U with DD-WRT

Cons: well the driver is an executable vs. having a driver folder which allows manual installation. A start up item was installed to allow for the device

Cons: This D-Link AC1900 adapter has serious hardware issue.
I tried to install this adapter on two of my laptops.

1. Lenovo Yoga 2 13 (Windows 10 64 bit)
Windows did not detect the hardware upon insertion of the adapter. The driver installation stopped at 2% and never complete.

2. Fujitsu P771 (Windows 7 32 bit)
Windows detected the hardware and driver installed successfully. However, my laptop constantly crashed after the hardware is installed. Also, the WiFi speed I got was extremely slower.

Pros: This is an update to my previous review. I bought the D-Link AC1900 Ultra Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Adapter (DWA-192) a few months ago at a higher price. Newegg was kind enough to give me a gift card for the difference.

As always Newegg has excellent customer service!

Other Thoughts: I previously had the ENCORE ENUWI-2XN45 Wireless N300 USB 2.0 Adapter but it failed after about 9 months. Since USB 3.0 has a transmission speed ten times faster than USB 2.0 that should make the D-Link AC1900 Ultra Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Adapter (DWA-192) much more stable.

The D-Link AC1900 Ultra Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Adapter (DWA-192) is still working great! Hoping it will last.
