1 out of 5 eggsUselessly Slow

Pros: The only pro for this unit is that it is inexpensive. It will install easily and eventually connect to your wireless network.

Cons: Miserably slow. Actually uselessly slow. Yes it will install and you'll be able to surf the net, just don't try to download/upload anything. I'm quite good at the network thing (as I do it for a living, as does my son), neither of us could get this card to do better than 11mb/sec on a connection.. That is awful.
Simply buy something else.
It also comes with totally management software that is totally unnecessary. If you have this unit, disable the management software and let windows manage your wireless connection.. Make it a tiny bit faster, but not much.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, cheap and works.

Pros: Works fine for a small 2 bedroom apartment, saves us from having to run cables to each room.

Cons: Range is kinda limited, but not worthy of an egg deduction.

2 out of 5 eggsWin7 ready? Not so much.

Pros: Worked well when I was running Windows XP. The signal strength was good enough to work with my router which was a couple rooms away.

Cons: I cannot get the card to function on Windows 7 64-bit. The driver installs and Windows acts like the card is functioning, but I cannot get it to detect any access points (my laptop detects 5+). The email support has not worked for me because the responses I get are mostly incoherent and hard to read.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried their phone support, I'll give that a shot next. Be wary if you plan on using Windows 7 with this device.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price! Great Prouct

Pros: GREAT PRICE!!! For the price, this is the best! It installed easily, even with Windows 7! Works great with my Belkin wireless g router! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants an average wireless connection for a exceptional price!

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Be sure to install driver BEFORE you install the PCI card.

1 out of 5 eggshorrible product

Pros: price.

Cons: everything else. The card performed awful from the get-go. It had a poor connection that was dial up slow (1mbps), whereas my laptop had 100% from further away. After about 2 hours of use, it began to randomly drop the connection and finally after 5 hours, it refused to re-connect completely.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't just stay away from this product, I would run as fast as I could from it everytime someone even mentioned the word Zonet.

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive and Great Quality

Pros: Inexpensive card yet gets the job done. Sure I've only had it for a few days now, but I put it in an old computer running Windows 2000, installed the driver and wireless network utility from the supplied CD, and it worked great. Says it's only running at 48mbps as opposed to the 54mbps, however different users will find varying speeds anyway. For me 48mbps is excellent and I don't think the extra 6 would save me much time just surfing the internet. Also plays well with my Lynksys router.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Windows 2000 initially found a driver for it I believe, but I needed the utility from the CD to ensure I was connected to my own network because Windows 2000 doesn't come with a wireless network utility, or at least I didn't have it.

I know own two Zonet products this and an 8 port ethernet switch. The switch I've had now for about 2 years and it has been fuctioning without a hiccup. I'm very pleased with both of these Zonet products and from my experience I can say if your are looking for quality products at an inexpensive price Zonet should be considered

2 out of 5 eggsI would say don't

Pros: It's cheap and it connects.

Cons: I can't get it to connect at 54Mbps. It stays at 11 to 18Mbps with a "very good" connection. I forced it to 54Mbps but it became very unstable.

Other Thoughts: I would say pay a little bit more for a better card. My wireless router is a linksys so if you have that combo I would get a linksys card.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: The antenna swivels, card is small, green status LED. Price is great! Vista detected and installed driver automatically.

Cons: Vista

Other Thoughts: For this price you honestly needs to rate this a 5. Driver CD has a good signal utility and standard options. Does WPA2 with RSA just fine after configuring.
