Works good so far
- Pros: Affordable, USB wireless adapter. Works good. Less flimsy than a previous usb adapter I used that was cheaper.
- Cons: Haven't really had a problem. Whenever I did, I was able to work around it.
- Other Thoughts: It may interfere with your sound. There was a period of time where whenever I would do something internet wise, I could hear some crackle and pop sounds. After doing a little searching, I realized this can happen with other wireless adapters, so it's not unique to this one. I'd suggest moving it a bit, using a usb extension cord if you have to. Only after moving it to the side, the problem stopped. I also notice something as simple as a refrigerator can interfere if it's close enough. (My desk was metal, in case if you were wondering. I didn't notice it until I got a new computer.)
Working good right out of the box
- Pros: Works out of the box with Windows 7 Ultimate x64, without installing any of the packaged software. Just plug and play. Gets an excellent connection, and the speed is great.
- Cons: None that I've seen so far.
- Other Thoughts: My advice, unless you are running Windows 98 or older, 99% of the software that comes with hardware is useless, it's either out of date or a down right dog.
Terrible
- Pros: Cheap wireless adapter.
- Cons: You cannot install the drivers for this without installing all their proprietary garbage software and the software that it installs will force the wireless adapter to randomly connect to various access points in the area.
- Other Thoughts: The software is this devices downfall, if you had an option to just install the drivers it would be a much better purchase.
