2 out of 5 eggsNo Longevity

Pros: Cheap & works great when first installed.

Cons: Stopped functioning after 3 months.

Other Thoughts: I work in the industry and didn't have a problem installing or using this card initially. After 3 months it died. If you don't mind the hassle, you can buy several of these cards for the same price of a reliable one. Personally I would rather pay more for a product that works for years.

2 out of 5 eggsworked great.. then died

Pros: connected everytime, good speeds

Cons: I had this in a spare computer, think and old pentium 4 with XP for my son to watch cartoons on Netflix in his room. The card worked great for about 1.5 years, but all of a sudden, the computer would hang on start up. Couldn't figure out what was wrong after a reinstall of OS. Scrapped old P4 and put in a newer machine... same problem, freeze on start up, took card out and it started up fine. Reinstalled drivers, (which are near impossible to find online) still froze up on restart. Card just went bad, No warning, just quit.

Other Thoughts: The only thing I can complain about is that I bought it elsewhere, and paid more than what NewEgg was charging. For the NewEgg price, almost 2 years worth of good service would have been more worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Works very well. Used to be sold at a great price. I wanted to buy another one but unfortunately it is now deactivated.
Kept a good connection even in areas of my house with poor signal strength.

Cons: Had a little trouble finding drivers for Ubuntu but I got it to work.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Wireless Card

Pros: I bought this last year when I was building my rig form scratch, and it's performed very well since I installed it. The antenna's offer higher speeds and better bandwidth than USB adapters, and are adjustable. I can run MMO's, stream, download, upload, and run multi-player nearly as well as a land line.

Cons: After waking my rig from sleep, the internet occasionally cuts out and says there is no connection, but that's easily fixed by refreshing the connection.

Other Thoughts: Cheers.

5 out of 5 eggsPlug Play NET

Pros: Fit into a pci slot, Windows 7 installed the drivers and all is good. Running linksys router with Tomato and boost of 70 and the Zonet in next room is measuring -57 RSSI and a quality of 38

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card w/caveat

Pros: Good and inexpensive. Two antennas.

Cons: Software that ships with it is old/out of date, leading to perceived card failure -- but it's a driver problem. Easily resolved by downloading the new exe (from Ralink.com dated May 13 2011) then uninstall old drivers/software and install the updated driver and software.

5 out of 5 eggsWindows 7 X64 Small Issue

Pros: -Works Great
-Good Signal Compared to my other card
-Drivers not necessary, however (see cons)

Cons: -Whether you install via windows drivers or the cd drivers, on Windows 7 64-bit its working normally but the icon is showing no internet access. When you hover of it however it says internet access and I am able to get online.
-I have tried multiple things such as enabling/disabling the adapter, remove the card and plugging back in, restarting the machine, putting on factory drivers and switching back to windows drivers...no fix.
-With it like this I am not able to remote into the machine or see it on the local network. I am still in process of attempting a fix have not found one yet.
-Not a true con but it came become difficult when I need to remote it.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the Best but OK

Pros: Cheap Price, OK range, what you would expect from a lowend card.

Cons: Drivers 2 thumbs down, Bought 3 of these 2 of them installed nicely. The last one driver would not install. After some research found they had a mid year change on this model. Had to download a seperate driver that was not on Zonet website and finally it works. Downloaded it from RALINK.

4 out of 5 eggsOK for the price

Pros: Nice connection speeds, low price, good range.

Cons: Driver set up can be a pain. Bought three of these. 2 went fine with the third not installing the driver at all. Found out they had a mid year change on this particular model. Finally got the driver installed. Network utility is garbage, just use Windows.

Other Thoughts: Don't be afraid of this card, just may be a challange to get driver installed.
