Pros: USB powered switch is a great idea.
Cons: After two returns for replacement, I still haven't received one that will even power on. So that's 3 dead switches in a row. I've decided to just give up because I've almost spent as much money in shipping back dead switches as the switch itself is worth. I'm not going to spend any more money sending back a third dead switch just to probably receive a fourth dead one.

Compact and useful
Pros: As the inhouse IT support, I frequently need to hookup my netbook to the LAN at one location or another (its rather spread out), but all the jacks are taken. Rather than disconnect someone and interrupt their work, I have this and a few short ethernet cables in my bag to split off the connection. Also, I get tired of lugging around too many accessories in my bag. In addition to being the smallest 5-port switch I've ever seen, It powers off USB, so I don't have another wall wart in my bag. Also comes with sticky magnets for attaching to metal surfaces. Shell is metal, not the least bit flimsy.
Cons: Not really a con IMO, but it costs more than other 5-port hubs. However, if you need the portability and durability like I do, its worth it.
Other Thoughts: One thing that would make it cooler would be to include single cable molding including both USB power and ethernet
