Comments: Works great. Easy setup and consistent 4 bars even though router is upstairs 25 feet away through 3 walls. I use this for online gaming (first person shooters) with no problems!

4 out of 5 eggsIt works for me

Comments: This card works great on my xp system, but I'm switching all my systems over to linux, and the company doesn't provide linux drivers, so for that it gets a 4. It was a very solid card under windows though.

Comments: I installed this adapter on PCs running both Windows 98 and Windows XP. When I first installed the software on both Windows platforms, the wireless utility reported that no drivers were installed. For the Windows XP machines, I just used the built-in wireless utility, but for Windows 98, I had to download the updated software from the manufacturer's website. It was a little extra work, but now all of these wireless adapters I've installed seem to be working fine.

5 out of 5 eggscheap card. works good

Comments: The card works great although when I first installed the drivers and software that came with it, it would not work. After uninstalling and letting windows use it's driver it worked fine. It's great that it has the option of using yoru own antenna. This paired with a hawking high gain antenna makes a great combo.

4 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Excellent wireless card for the money. It's definitely worth it, however the control utility is not the greatest, and well, all in all networks just sometimes suck. I'd make the pringles cantenna and hook it up to this, and it would be the perfect wireless card (minus the utility, but it's still ok)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Comments: This is the best wireless adapter I have ever dealt with. I recommend this over any linksys adapters. I have this adapter hooked up on a computer 15ft away, 3 walls in between, and I have almost never lost connection. The record right now is 28 days and 9 hours. It would be more, but I have had to restart the machine a couple of times. I've tried the linksys usb and pci adapters before and I have never had a constant connection with those for more than 5 hours. Linksys routers on the other hand are great. In fact, the wireless router I am using for my setup right now is the Linksys WRT54G, and It performs great...

Comments: Works great if you use XP wireless control. Get a good signal from a long distance. Will probably upgrade to a better antenna but the card itself is a great deal.

4 out of 5 eggsworked like a charm

Comments: this item works well, the supplied control utility isn't very good, wasn't getting much of a connection. I removed it and used the xp native support and it worked really well and has been since i got it.

thanks newegg!

4 out of 5 eggsGood card

Comments: Works great, 4 stars because driver and Utility shipped needed to be upgraded before it would work at all.
