Pros: I bought a refurbished unit for < 10 bucks with free shipping! I absolutely LOVE Newegg! The device works like a charm. Speed tests indicate I'm getting full speed.
Cons: None so far!
Other Thoughts: Be sure you have access to you network via LAN. You will need the internet for drivers. I was setting this up for my daughter around midnight on Christmas Eve and had to drag everyting into my bedroom to finish the install. Once I connected the PC to my LAN the install was complete in < 2 minutes.

Pros: Worked perfectly with zero configuration on Ubuntu 9.10 (Ubuntu Studio)
Cons: None so far.

Pros: cheap for what it does works well with linux using NDIS wrapper if you even need it. plugged in with ubuntu 9.04 it worked 9.10 same result just works. mint 8 again it works. vista well thats another story below. it does connect faster in linux than windows.
Cons: vista and W7 hate this thing not to mention the drivers yes EVEN the new ones are all screwey.
Other Thoughts: i use this for linux as if you havent guessed it by now. not a single problem turn off pc turn on its up in a second or 2 using wpa personal and hidden networks. no need to install NDISwrapper for this in ubuntu 9.04, 9.10 or mint8(helena). may need to get 1 or 2 more since its a slow change over to linux. yes it does get warm so does its bigger brother the wpn111 consider this is a radio transmitter. so that is normal.
