Mostly what I wanted
Pros: These have no screen which is exactly what I wanted. Most of the calling functions for our service happen directly on the screen. We do not want our operators confused by conflicting information and options on the phone. In our case, simple is better.
Cons: You need a degree in rocket science to do anything with Cisco products and this is no exception. I have been in IT for over 20 years. After messaging with these units for over a month, I am still unable to find enough time to learn how to provision them in any sort of automated fashion. I have read the guides and such but still, it just seems more difficult than it should be to get these things provisioned any other way than manually. Also, upgrading the firmware is a pain because you have to apply one version of the firmware, just to be able to patch to the second version. Finally, the firmware upgrade utilities are buggy at best. I buy these for my customers for the name and reliability once they are setup, not for ease of use.
Other Thoughts: Nothing wrong with these phones, we like the simplistic version to keep the confusion of the users to a minimum. They just won't win any awards for those that just want to get them configured without having 10 years of Cisco school ;-)

Pros: bought these and didnt even realize that they didnt have a screen. all they are is little paper strips that you write the number on. Why would you want a sip phone if you have no caller id or functionality for 100$. not worth it. get the 504G it does all kinds of things. My fault for not checking it carefully.
Cons: no screen, no caller id.
