Pros: Just as good as the SPA921 it replaces. Users of the old SPA921 will not have any issues getting these setup.

Cons: Does *not* ship with PA100-NA Power Adapter. I have 5 SPA 921's I purchased and they all came with this. This newer model supports PeE ( Power over Ethernet ) out of the box, and if your hardware does not support this, or something else, you have to buy the power adapter. I ended up finding it for $10 online with free shipping, which wasn't too bad ( other than the fact I had to buy two ) . Newegg made me remove where I found it as it was considered a "competitors site" even though NewEgg does not sell the PA100.

Only comes with one network cable, and PoE obviously requires two. Make sure the cable you are using for PoE has *all* 8 pins wired if you used the supplied cable for the network connection.

Other Thoughts: This phone replaces the SPA921. Essentially as with all Linksys products, really the only change is the model number, and the branding. It now shows Cisco where it used to be Linksys. The firmware was updated, but is still pretty much the same.

The POE didn't work in our environment for a few reasons, common for others to consider is because of our Gigabit setup ( apparently the wires that normally carry power in POE carry data in a Gigabit environment ).

Do your research with this item. When I first received my new ones, I actually had to chat with NewEgg as I was under the influence the power adapter was missing. Rather than explaining that the device was PoE, I was bluntly told by a NewEgg representative that they only guarantee what is in the picture, even on a new product. At first, my thought was that the insinuation was that Cisco was providing a device without any power sources. After some research I found that it was PoE. The description now mentions it's PoE

Pros: -Well Marked Buttons

-Simple to use Web Interface
-Can upload alternate ringtones to device
-Decent Loudness on Speakerphone
-Various Screensavers
-PoE

Cons: -First one I received stopped working, but the 'egg made it right, second one has been going strong.
-Not sure why, but the caller ID for an incoming call says "To: xxx-xxx-xxxx", but not a deal-breaker
-10/100 ethernet ports, but again, not a big deal

Other Thoughts: Using with a 3CX-Based IP Telephony system, haven't had any issues with sound quality.

Pros: The phone looks, sounds like a high end phone. I have used 7911's and other cisco phones and i was equally impressed. using it with a SPA9000.

Cons: I alsp have a SPA525g and i think the speaker phone on the 502g is not as good as the 525, but its half the price!
