Solid reliable switch with good throughput
Pros: good value, easy to deploy, excellent throughput and reliability
Other Thoughts: I've installed these switches at several locations in our small company, replacing older hubs and switches. They work as advertised, make no noise (fanless), require no setup, and provide excellent throughput. For our small business network, which has a 20Mbps Internet connection, these switches easily handle the traffic within the office network and to/from four remote offices. I was a little hesitant to depend on a lower priced switch like this, but it has proved robust and a great value. At the current prices, I can also keep one on the shelf as a spare just in case any problems occur.

Works as Advertised
Pros: --Have had absolutely no downtime so far
Cons: --No gigabit Ethernet ports
Other Thoughts: This switch works exactly as advertised. It's a basic switch that will get a small business network up to snuff right out of the box. It does not allow you to configure it, though; it's a plain-vanilla switch, which may or may not meet your workplace requirements. If you don't know what "configuring a switch" means, then this Cisco switch will probably be fine.
