5 out of 5 eggsWhat a bargain!

Pros: All 24 10/100 ports support POE:
180w over 24 ports, with a max of 15.4 per port.

Plenty of Uplinks if you need to VLAN the ports.

Unused ports go into energy save.
Web interface with tons of manageable options.
But the nice thing is, you don't have to manage the switch at all. Just plug in your uplink, and plug your devices in.

Cons: The fans are noisy; that's about all I can think of.

This model is called SF300-24p, the gig model is called SG300-28P...but they both have the same exact port layout...24 ports and 4 uplinks.

Other Thoughts: I do campus card/surveillance security, and I bought this switch to power 9 AXIS P3344 cameras, and data for 5 door controllers.

Since all these devices are 10/100, why waste money/energy on a switch with full gig ports (SG300-28P). All you need is the gig uplink.
