1 out of 5 eggsNOT Gigabit!

Pros: It's a switch. Probably reliable, but I can't tell because I can't use it. I needed a gigabit switch.

Cons: 10/100 switch with gigabit uplink misslabled as gigabit.

Other Thoughts: have to return now. not happy.

3 out of 5 eggsProduct Listing confusing - not a Gigabit switch

Pros: Good price for a brand name product

Cons: Device not clearly enough marked as a 10/100 switch with Gigabit uplinks. Shame on me for not reading the fine print

Other Thoughts: Newegg graciously refunded the purchase price. Thank you!

5 out of 5 eggsReplaced $1500 switches with these

Pros: They are the cheapest brand name thing you can get with mini-gbic = SFP

They work at dead default (no worry about losing settings)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: bought 2 of them to connect an office to a warehouse via fiber

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Does exactly as intended. Unmanaged, using the uplinks to a gigabit core switch provides without a hiccup. Very quiet and power mindful it seems.

Cons: Nothing, they only thing I could imagine someone would say negative would be a DoA or lack of investigation prior to purchase.

Other Thoughts: If you need an unmanaged switch to build off of this is a great start, moving up to a second one would be excellent for providing 48 10/100 connections with gig uplinks.
