5 out of 5 eggsGreat value when on sale

Pros: These are great switches. Sometimes they run $300, though, and I'm not sure they're worth that - but when they're on sale for half that, or even pushing $200, they're certainly worth it. They're reliably, fast, compact gigabit switches.

Cons: Pricey when not discounted

5 out of 5 eggsSimple and Reliable

Pros: Switch is dead simple to use, and has been rock-solid. Inclusion of SFP ports are nice for fibre integration with larger networks, though is likely overkill for the target market. The flexibility of a smaller form-factor while maintaining the ability to rack-mount via included brackets is nice. Fanless design is nice if used in an office rather than closet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Ports on the front and power on the back could make things messy depending on use-case, as opposed to both power and ports on the back. May be a pro if cables are frequently being added/removed from the switch (ease of access).

5 out of 5 eggsIt just works

Pros: Had 3 five port switch that was daisy chained as my network grew. Got this as a replacement after one of them died, and another started acting flaky.

It just runs and video stream from my media server has also gotten smoother & better.

However not all the ports are connected so it is nowhere at capacity & perhaps having that extra headroom has also improved my network capacity

Cons: Since the cables connect out the front cable management can be a challenge

Other Thoughts: If you have a expanding network and a few switch to switch connections consider this as an option

The price is a bit on the high side when compared to two or three home grade switches.
