Pros: Easy to install & setup

Cons: Problem:
Inability to channel bond, reverted to 20 Mhz (130 Mbps) @ 30 ft @ any primary channel, maximum download speed = 7 Mbps (when it was @ 40 Mhz) and 20 Mbps @ 20 Mhz. No interference from other radios!

Cisco service – non existent!
I didn't cross a t or dot an i on my profile, so they couldn't help? I filled out some more information and asked if they could help now?

I was informed that there was no warranty on this unit. I emailed back that unit was only three days old at the time and the warranty explicitly states one year parts and labor.

I was then informed that I should purchase a service contract from one of their partners, and then I'd be offered help.

I emailed back and told them that no one should have to purchase a service contract when the unit was under warranty!

Cisco support emailed back: "I am not able to escalate your issue as your Cisco account is newly added and not able to open a case" ?????
"Would you please kindly provide me you colleague's user ID for help or contact us later"
Are you serious? No more Cisco here!

Thank you NewEgg for allowing me to return this unit.

BTW – on Brand "U", wireless download speeds were 50 – 60 Mbps, same computer, same distance! Ordered another Brand "U".

Other Thoughts: Will not recommend product - I have other Cisco products throughout my business and never had a problem!

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a Cisco what do you expect?

Pros: Great range and excellent speeds well packaged, Cisco GUI for configuration is a bit clunky.

Cons: No ssh or telnet option for configuration. Configuration is a bit confusing at first, and setup takes a little more experience than just a computer smart small business owner.

Other Thoughts: I have been in the networking field for about 16 years and have configured everything from a Cisco 700 series isdn router up to and including the ASR routers. This box once configured, configuration with just a simple laptop to the device was not as easy as it could be.
