4 out of 5 eggsOk for now!

Pros: Product does improve reception of local wireless connection. Much beter than the short wireless card antenna. I'd say 50% improvement.

Cons: I agree with last reveiewer that the cable is a little short and stiff. Movement is only forward and back NOT side to side which might help fine tune.

Other Thoughts: Newegg has the best reviews. I always check with NE before selecting to purchase. They use to have more Free Shipping deals. I can save on shipping and no tax with competition most time.

5 out of 5 eggsWell worth the cost

Pros: This antenna is an excellent buy. I would recommend anyone that has signal strength problems to use this product. I struggled to get one bar on my signal strength on my desktop computer, and now I have solid four bars and sometimes five bars.

Cons: The cable is a bit short and won't reach the top of a hutch. Cable is also quite rigid and pulls antenna off a perfect line to router. small problems easily overcome by playing with the angle of the antenna on its base.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Inexpensive, very effective, nice cable length

Cons: Doesn't pivot left and right, but you can just move the base anyway.

Other Thoughts: I tried playing World of Warcraft on WiFi and my connection went from "What connection?" to "Now you see me, now you don't." This antenna has me at "low" at the very lowest signal strength, but it's commonly Very High.

When I played WoW there would be moments wehere everything would pause and resume about 3 seconds later. I heal, and it lead to my party dying. I got this and it barely ever happens anymore. I've gotten one signal drop since I've had this (whereas before they were a constant many by the hour burden.)

Stuck it in the back of my PCI card, added nothing to the router, improved everything from surfing to non-action games gaming by an exponential amount.

Highly recommended and I would gladly buy another in a heartbeat.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the trick!

Pros: Was using a DLink G pci card stock antenna to a Dlink 624 router. Was getting low signals and dropouts during games. So when I replaced the stock antenna on the pci card, pointed the Trend directly toward my router and have excellent and very good signals all the time. No more dropouts during Battlefield2! Yay! Thanks Newegg! If I didn't have you, I'd be spending twice as much cash at a brick and mortar store and be getting inferior products!

Cons: None. Worked perfectly

3 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: Better than the one came with my PCI wireless card.

Cons: No better than the tin-can antenna I made.

Other Thoughts: I made a tin can antenna before buying this one using a tin can and a piece of co-axial cable. That one works, but the connection is kind of loose, since I didn't buy pro gudget.

In terms of boosting signals, this one is almost the same as the tin can one I made. It does come with a connector which makes life a little easier.

Both my router and my pci card are D-Link ones (which I don't recommend if you need strong signal). This antenna works with them.

5 out of 5 eggsFixed the problem

Comments: My wife wanted to relocate her PC to the opposite end of the house. The wireless router (D-Link DI-524) had no idea that end of the house even existed. Replaced he stock antenna with this one and now have an excellent signal where there was none.

5 out of 5 eggsworks well

Comments: works well so long as you aim them properly. i installed one at the router and another on the wireless PCI card. signal strength is much better through quite a few walls.

4 out of 5 eggs

Comments: i have my computer in my room and the AP is downstairs, without the ant. i was gettin very inconsistant connections...from very good to low to even getting disconnected often. i got this and hooked it up no problem i have a linksys card, and it also uses the SMA connection so it fits perfect. i was expecting to have "excellent" connection all the time, but i do have "very good" consistantly now. i think i might buy another to put on my AP see what happens. but i do recommend.

4 out of 5 eggsI love it!!!

Comments: I got this antenna from newegg because my wireless signal was getting chunked. My house is made out of red bricks... I had good signal strenght for periods of time and then disconnections. After days of suffering with D-link support (I have a DWL-G520 with a DI-624 router which rocks, unfortunately I can't say the same about the support from D-link) I bought this antenna. I live in MIAMI, and even when it's raining, my signal never decreases. I love it!!!
