1 out of 5 eggsDON'T Waste your money!

Pros: Worked first time it was setup when new on a old white xbox 360. When it worked it worked well and could have been a great way to get wireless connection to old xbox 360. I also have two new black slim xbox's so these adapters are headed to the trash.

Cons: It no longer would work after about a month. This was my second adapter from Trendnet thought well the first one was just a lemon. Maybe setup was beyond my technical ability. Called Trendnet and they were no help so now I got two of these that don't work and and old xbox 360 with no network connection. I don't think these are quite what they want you to believe.

Other Thoughts: Easy one touch WPS button work on other products I have just not on these adapters. Weird

1 out of 5 eggsAs others, 2 years and dead.

Pros: Worked well for my setup. Had a computer connected to it in the basement, but the router is in the office a floor higher.

Cons: Died 2 years and 2 months after barely using it.

2 out of 5 eggsOnly for gaming

Pros: Probably works fine with an X-Box, easy to configure.

Cons: Provides no DHCP down stream.

Other Thoughts: I order wrong item for purpose intended, my bad. I have had very good experience with TRENDnet.

5 out of 5 eggsPlug and Play

Pros: Price and ease of use

Cons: Front LEDs are a bit bright, hide it = problem solved

Other Thoughts: This was literally plug and play. Took it out of the box, plugged it in and my XBox 360 was online with no issues whatsoever.

1 out of 5 eggsBleh

Pros: It worked good while it lasted.

Cons: Lasted barely 2-years. I used it very little. I haven't tried to use it in over 6-months.

Other Thoughts: I was testing a new media server to my DLNA tv and it was working fine. today it can't find a device.

I remove from tv and connect to my pc and no device found.

both the power led and device connected led light up, but no wireless led.

I tried a new ethernet cable as the one that came with it doesn't lock when you plug it in. Same issues.

I ran the wireless setup wizard I downloaded for thisunit. version 2.1R.

Maybe newer revisions work better. not sure.

also, how does the ethernet port on this device that is rated at 100Mp/s suppose to transmit up to 400mps? Seems impossible to send more than it can wirelessly than the wired end can send? I had this same isue with my old n-router that on;y had 100Mbps switch. I could never get over 12MB/s file transfers to my server. A gigabit router solved the problem and is would handle up to 120MB/s

-2 eggs for poor construction and another three for slow wired ethernet speed. since I couldn't give a zero rating I had to give this a one :P

Remember, you need 1,000 (gigabit) speed wired ethernet to take advantage of high speed wireless. otherwise you are locked to 100mps wireless speeds.

1 out of 5 eggsNot the best

Pros: none worked out the box

Cons: No telephone support, bought to use as a wireless adapter for my grandsons desktop computer. Worked on setting it up for 3 hours. No go. Instructions aren't the best in the world either. Will probably never buy another Trendnet product. This one has left a bad taste in my mouth.

1 out of 5 eggs2 years dead

Pros: When it worked it was great.

Cons: I got this 2 years ago at Christmas time and it just died.only two years of service that is Unacceptable in my book.

Other Thoughts: One thing with this unit you have to run the install wizard to use. That is the only way you can set up to the device.

4 out of 5 eggsIncluded network cable faulty...

Pros: Works very well once I discovered all my frustrations configuring the darn thing stemmed from the included network cable.

Don't know why I didn't try a different cable sooner, but it would have saved hours of frustration.

Cons: - Included cable was faulty

- Easily knocked over.

Other Thoughts: My nephew has been using it with an old phat Xbox 360. He has had no issues for months.

2 out of 5 eggsPain to Connect and Finally Died

Pros: When I finally got it connected, worked well.

Cons: Took me literally hours to get it to configure. Would only configure on one of my 7 computers, all Win 7, all with plenty of juice and solid connections to router. I changed my router 3 times (identical DD-WRT configurations) and all other computers connected without a hitch. Not this. Had to reconfigure each time from scratch. Died after 8 months or so. Simply will not connect even though it says I've correctly configured.

Other Thoughts: Again, when configured. runs well.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work for me

Pros: Cheap, small

Cons: Doesn't work

Other Thoughts: Bought to connect a Tivo. User reviews indicated this device worked for them to use with a Tivo, but I followed the directions included with the device and I could not get it to see and connect to my network. Ran the software set up on XP and had no success.

Have to CL it now. Not recommended.
