Pros: I have a older Belkin wireless g router and am using the Trendnet gaming adapter to hook up my wife's computer. I was going to use a USB wireless, or install a wireless card in her pc, but saw this one. Very very simple to install, even though I have WEP instead of the WPS/WPA, (which would install even easier). Took less than 5 minutes to complete. Popped in the install cd and the unit recognized my wireless right away, pucnhed in my wep id and was on. Speeds and connection is very high. 2500 sq ft home and my router is on 2nd floor front of house and wife's pc is 1st floor back of house. Actually surprised me how good of a connection I got. I really thought I was going to have to get the Wireless N router to get it to work. I will probably get another one now to hook up my Direct Tv HD box.
Cons: None at all. Works great

Can stream some HD

Pros: Wireless - N speed on the PS3. This allows me to stream HD content to the PS3 with some gotchas. An .m2ts file from a non-compressed blu-ray will stutter when bitrates get high.
Full-length movies from compressed .mkv files (converted to .m2ts streams with dd5.1 soundtrack 448Khz would play. This is with the server (ps3 media server) running on a hard-wired connection to the router (a Trendnet 633GR). It would not play correctly with the media server's computer on a wireless connection. This is with the access point about 1 room away.
I also turned off stream control (the setting that prioritizes streams by type in the router). There are likely other settings which can/will affect the speed however I am in the process of moving and do not have much time for more tests at the moment. I am a new convert to wireless due to moving.
Cons: None that I don't blame on my own impatience. I plugged the adapter into the router instead of my PC's network port which messed me up - I was in too big of a hurry. I finally re-did installation and realized they mean, plug the adapter into the COMPUTER'S network port. So when setting up, make sure you remember this very simple step, and that your network port is enabled and running on the PC you are doing the setup on.
Other Thoughts: I'll update with more information once I am moved in and have more time to set this up. It is quite a bit faster than the wireless built into the PS3 when served wireless-N.

Pros: The pros state that this adapter is universal which is great if you have networking knowledge. The Adapter can be used for anything with a ethernet port which makes it great for years to come.
Cons: The installation is suppose to be easy but it's not when your done installing the the software and connecting to the router it doesn't do it automatic, you have to give it a static IP and log on to the Admin page and connect it from there.
Other Thoughts: This is great for my Xbox 360, DVR and it is better than Xbox wireless adapter and a lot cheaper.

Pros: The software was easy to use.
Cons: I tried several time to use this to connect my DirecTV box to my wireless network. It never worked, so I RMA'd. The Linksys Adapter worked right away. Never could figure out the issue, but it wasn't for lack of trying.

Highlights
Wireless-N The TRENDnet TEW-647GA uses the latest wireless networking technology: Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate by overlaying the signals of multiple radios, and uses signal reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels up to 4 times farther than standard Wireless-G. With Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get.
Wireless Security The TRENDnet TEW-647GA supports 64/128-bit WEP, WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption to help to prevent potential attacks from the internet.
