Pros: Micro size, which I was looking for. Easy install/setup.

Cons: Performance was terrible. I couldn't understand why my 15 mb/s connection was only going 1-2 mb/s with this adapter.

Plugged in my old adapter, which is 10 years old, and works like a charm. This new one couldn't keep up. Literally only 20 feet from router and this adapter simply cant get nearly the speeds it advertises.

Other Thoughts: It was so cheap I didn't bother returning it. I could see it being useful on a laptop that doesn't have a wifi adapter.

Pros: Its small and inexpensive. Its recognized and enumerated perfectly on raspbien "wheezy". Perfect for Raspberry Pi users.

Cons: None.

Pros: Small size, can leave plugged in to travel. Good range for a unit this size, at 45 feet from old Cisco E2000 router performs slightly better than built-in Toshiba laptop receiver.

Cons: Requires Trendnet driver to work with Win7 Home and Pro. Must download latest driver. Using the driver on the supplied CD it acts like like it has very poor performance and then apparently dies.

Pros: Very small size.

Cons: Bought 2 of theses and tried both on win xp 32 bit and both of them refuse to work.
Also the software does not work correctly.

Please try the following to see if that activates use of the utility. Press Windows + R to open the run command. Type in services.msc and press enter. Scroll down to the Wireless Zero Configuration Service and double click on it. Change the startup type to disabled and stop the service and press ok. Check the utility. If the utility still does not recognize the adapter please email Adrian@trendnet.com and we’ll have someone help and make sure the device drivers are loaded properly. Pros: Small, Plug n Play, works great!

Pros: Bought 2 on sale two weeks ago and have been using for a full week (both)....no issues and recognized instantly, windows 7 loaded drivers in less than a minute, did not use provided software.

Cons: NONE

Pros: great connection - it connects to more things than my internal one ever did before it decided that it wouldn't connect unless it was on top of the router. It's small, and doesn't get in the way - it's great for my netbook.

Cons: Don't really have any. It's small, connects great, just what you expect a network adapter to do.

Other Thoughts: I can't imagine why others are having trouble with it connecting. Mine picks up everything in the neighborhood, it seems.

Pros: Very small and compact, I have my computer in the same room as the router and do not have any problems at all.

Cons: Other people seem to have problems if router and USB adapter are in different rooms. But comon, what do you expect from something so small!?

Other Thoughts: I bought this because my cat was chewing the longer USB wireless

Pros: The tiny size is fantastic.

Cons: The reception is not good at all. I have two wireless adapters and did a comparison b/w the two.

The one i'm replacing (a Hawking something or other) is wireless G and I want to upgrade my network to N.

The only place the two are even comparable (in download speed) is when the computer is right next to the router (and i mean right next to it).

Upstairs, where I will normally be computing, this thing can barely even connect and has frequent drops.

Because i don't like things sticking out of my laptop, i went ahead and got the Diamond Wireless-N Range extender -- which is great btw.

Running same test, yes there is improvement, but where my previous G adapter gets something around 24Mbs, this one only does about 15-16. And it is only about 6 feet away w/ direct line of sight.

My signal strength is pegged at 100%, but the speedtest.net results are poor relative to the Hawking adapter (which is slightly larger)

Don't buy unless you are going to be in the same room as
