5 out of 5 eggs Works well with ATT Uverse

Pros: If you have a duplexer thar has "VDSL", "Combined", and "HPNA", this will work on the HPNA spot

Cons: A bit pricy. They have no competition. :(

Other Thoughts: Works well for me.

4 out of 5 eggsRespectable speed, long range

Pros: Long range, easy setup, respectable speed, minimal latency, excellent stability.

Cons: Price is a bit high, speed limited by the 10/100 ethernet ports, lack of documentation.

Other Thoughts: I got two of these to run a long outdoor network. I unboxed them, and finding no documentation, started googling around. Unfortunately, there simply is no documentation (apart from a sparse datasheet), but thankfully they work without too much trouble. They basically act as a bridge, anything that goes in one side comes out the other. The actual data rate is better than the 10/100 ports on the device, so each device has two ethernet ports. Basically, each ethernet port is connected to the coax line, and to the other port. The intended purpose is probably for two computers to connect to one device. However, in a pinch, you can even use it as a two port hub. I used these to run a network of about a kilometer. I used brand new RG-6 cable, with only a TPA-311 at each end. Even at that distance, the performance was still as good as or better than 100mbit ethernet, and there was no discernable latency.
I don't know how these perform when run on the same cable as various other signals, but they work great for long wired networks. In my case, the 1km run was entirely outdoors, so if you get direct burial RG-6, it'll be far easier than going with fiber. Also, if you're willing to plunk down the money, you could probably get even better range using good RG-11 cable. I don't think these will handle interconnecting busy networks very well, but for getting internet access through an industrial or agricultural complex where wireless is not an option, they work great.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with Uverse!

Pros: Works great, using it as a HomePNA adapter to get a connection on the other end of the house. Only two devices on the network, the AT&T Uverse Gateway, and this guy. Havent conducted a device-to-device speed test, but it for sure is able to max out my 12Mb/s internet connection, which is all I really need.

Was very easy to install, plugged everything in and it just worked. Doesnt get much easier than that.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Its nice that they give you two ethernet ports on the device. For me, that enough to not need a hub, which is awesome. Same thing with the coax-to-tv connection.

Works great with Uverse internet.

3 out of 5 eggsWill Not Play Well with Digital Cable TV

Pros: When these adapters are placed between coax cable without any other sharing i.e. cable TV, the adapters run very well. I was getting the full 100 mbps signal over 200 feet away. These are mid-band adapters that run in the same frequency as digital cable and will not work when cable is installed with the adapters. If you isolate the coax lines and only run the adapters, you will get excellent service. When setup this way however, the coax does not distribute any cable tv or phone service.

Cons: The units interfere with shared digital cable TV on the same coax and reduce the connection to under 1 mbps. These are designed to share the coax with Satelight TV. They will not work well with digital cable.

Other Thoughts: I had to return these units and once again, newegg's customer service was superb. Thank you for continued support.
