4 out of 5 eggsWorks on my Mitac 8375

Pros: Easy installation. The software provided with the card is good at managing connections and does not have a tremendous lag time when the computer is booted up. The software makes it pretty easy to switch network profiles and allows you to turn the antenna off to save power.

The signal is good even though I only have one internal antenna connected.

That and it's super cheap.

Cons: It seems a bit hotter than I would expect but my laptop has a problem with head dissipation.

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: Worked right out of the box, detected my nework. Fit inside my Dell Latitude C610 and the antenna connectors worked with the builtin connectors near the mini-PCI slot.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Inexpensive and works well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I installed this (replacing a failed card in my laptop), installed the software, and it worked right away. Opening the laptop was the biggest hassle. The antenna connectors were the same as the one that were replaced, so their size is not unique to this unit.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It worked in my cousins computer whos wireless card got fried and I fixed with this.

Cons: Did not work with my toshiba satellite 1135-s155 (no 104 error on bootup, just would not work "disconnected")

Other Thoughts: If it works in your laptop then its great, if not well then its not much use. 1/5 and 5/5 -> 3/5

2 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: cheap, easy to install, fast shipping

Cons: terrible wireless range. maybe 15feet at max. even after mutiple changes in both antenna locations.

Other Thoughts: if your just looking for a cheap way to get wireless to the next room over. if your looking to take it out to the pool deck or garage shop this isn't for you.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For someone who is money tight like me, this thing was in the price range I was looking for.

Performance is excellent. The old Linksys USB adapter I was using (velcroed onto the back of my laptop) suffered from dead spots, but this chip doesn't get any of those problems in my house.

Cons: The lack of antenna cables with it. Luckily my Toshiba laptop was pre-wired with an antenna, which is probably why I have wonderful signal. It doesn't tell you until you get the package that an antenna boosts the signal.

Trust me. It boosts is tremendously. 70% signal strength while sitting 5 feet from router without antenna.

80% while 2 floors below it with the antenna.

Other Thoughts: The software that comes with the card is nice. It's small and easy to navigate, and the card supports special features that different routers can use (like TxBurst and special packet sending stuff).

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great in Gateway M305CRV

Pros: Low price, simple install, works in Gateway M305CRV with Windows XP (even with a pittiful 256mb ram).

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I know Intel wireless mini-pci cards had the best reception but they are no longer available and you always had to pay up for them. This works just fine, but can't say how senitive it is (an Intel card could be better). But for the price it makes sense for upgrading an older computer and you don't have anything sticking out the side!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat wireless card

Pros: quick and easy install, if you can install ram, you can install this. works so much better than my old intel prowireless 2200bg.

Cons: tricky to get antennae to connect, but only because the connectors are so small and I have large hands

Other Thoughts: fast shipping like always
