Cons: The web interface isn't as intuitive as some routers out there. If you don't have a lot of know how, you may have problems with this interface.

A Little Disappointed

Pros: I have been using the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 router for a while now and wanted to move up to wireless n. The router is slim. It can be mounted on the wall, it can lay flat, or use optional stand. Generous cables and cord on power supply.
Cons: The signal range is not as good as my WHR-HP-G54 router. I have tried the stock firmware and now DD-WRT firmware. I have owned other wireless routers with internal antennas with no signal problems.

Pros: * For the sale price I paid, this N based router has been a great upgrade for a G based router.
* Connect at up to 300 Mbs when irritating your neighbors by hogging half the 2.4Ghz band with 40Mhz channels. 144Mbs if you wish to be nice.
* WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) which is an enhancement from Buffalo's homegrown AOSS worked wonderfully. Allows for transfering your long Passkey to your N based device without typing.
* It has 32MB of SDRAM which means plenty of room for third party firmware/applications.
* A decent administration web interface
* Comes with a coffee shop mode which disallows each connecting point from having access to each other (ie they can only talk to the internet)
* A switch on the router will transform it into an AP giving you five ethernet LAN ports instead of four LAN + a WAN.
* Support for auto channel selection chooses the least cluttered channel.
Cons: * No 5 GHz support -- so you must something in the 2.4Ghz band which is a cluttered band
* All the ethernet ports are 100Base-TX instead of 1000Base-T. A shame since the wireless can actually push more data than the wired ports.
* Both antennas are internal only with no port for attaching an external antenna. This reduces range.
* No site survey mode to determine your best choice of channels.
Other Thoughts: It was very easy to load recent version of DD-WRT to make this a full featured router complete with WDS (wireless distribution system -- ie access points that don't need to be connected via Ethernet) and OpenVPN support.
One downside of this easy upgrade is that DD-WRT does not enable the WPS button (the developers declared it reduces security -- which is true as a hacker could jump in right when you pressed the buttons and grab the key -- but ease of use is a serious benefit to non-techies who are more likely to disable security)
