3 out of 5 eggsMeh...

Pros: Works as a wireless adapter.

Cons: Software install required to use.
Transfer speed does not improve even when changing the bandwidth. (The transfer speed I see is capped at 72 no matter which one I choose.)

Other Thoughts: Sometimes the signal drops for no reason.
Works reasonably well as a wireless adapter, however I will get one with a PCI interface to see if that will work better.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great vid card that doesn't break the bank, runs a lot of games on high (planetside 2, gta 4, sleeping dogs, etc) and the fans are quiet.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGood for penetration testing.

Pros: Supports monitor mode and packet injection in Backtrack 6 (Kali).

Range is poor, but for as small as this is, it goes well with conducting low profile penetration testing in places where it may be a bad idea to be seen with large antenna sticking out of your laptop or tablet.

Cons: Range. Runs very hot. Use caution removing from USB slot after prolonged packet activity.

Other Thoughts: Needed something that could stick out the back of a laptop without breaking off in strange situations AND support packet injection in linux. works a charm

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little dongle.

Pros: To my delight and surprise it worked out-of-box with Raspbian (based on Debian wheezy) with the up-to-date packages as of the date of this review.

It's small, unobtrusive, and has not gotten hot under normal use with the Raspberry Pi. I can easily use both USB ports due to the nice miniature design. I also don't worry about accidentally damaging the port by bumping it.

I like the blue status light.

Cons: No issues encountered.

Other Thoughts: I first had it installed on a Windows 7 system. I didn't have any trouble installing it using the drivers on the enclosed CD.

I find it a bit silly that it was plug-n-play with Debian and required software installation in Windows.. thank Microsoft for charging vendors massive fees to validate drivers, I guess.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: For such a small adapter it gets great signal strength, connection, and doesn't over heat.

Cons: The adapter is pretty small so when I plug it into one of the USB ports on the back of my PC (which is opposite of where the router is directed) the signal strength drops quite a bit. This didn't appear to diminish my connection speed any.

Other Thoughts: A couple of years ago a friend of mine introduced me to Buffalo's networking products and I have never looked back. Nobody makes networking products as good as Buffalo.

5 out of 5 eggsTiny N Adapter

Pros: Very Tiny, easy to use, works with the installation of the driver. No problem installing.

Cons: None. Didn't own long enough to see potential flaws or overheating issues.

Other Thoughts: I've looked at the other reviews on the other N adapters that are extremely tiny, and this is what I came to buying. With the price it's going for, it's the right choice. I trust Buffalo to be a good reliable company. I haven't tested it long enough to see if this device overheats and disconnects. Let's just hope it's not one of those adapters.

2 out of 5 eggs"Details" Screen Lied

Pros: Tiny little thing with a nice blue LED in it.

The price was write at $14 on sale.

Shipping was really quick

Cons: This thing does NOT work on Windows 7. I had to run it in compatibility mode as Windows Vista.

Right in the set-up it tells you it does not support Windows 7!!!!

Range is no good. I have my router in another room on the same floor (~15' away) and the connection is spotty at best.

I have to re-install the drivers every time I restart my computer

Not reliable at all.

Other Thoughts: I really wish the details screen hadn't lied to me. I now have a (practically) useless dongle and will have to buy another one.
