Along with wireless connectivity, the HAWNR3 has 4 wired 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports for connecting your computers that do not have wireless access. It also offers the latest wireless security features, ensuring that your files and network are safe from outside intruders. The external removable antennas allow quick and easy upgrades for more range demanding environments.

HOW THE HAWNR3 ROUTER WORKS

Most standard wireless router performance diminishes significantly past a coverage radius of 200 feet and causes slow and unstable connections for intensive online activities, such as web surfing, video chatting, streaming, and gaming. The HAWNR3 solves this issue with an internal power amplifier, reducing Wi-Fi interference and optimizing your wireless signal, with up to three times stronger than most standard wireless routers on the market.

Cons: couldn't do what i purchased it for which was to replace my Linksys WRT54GX4 w/SRX400... Other Thoughts: i bought this to replace my Linksys WRT54GX4 w/SRX400 which i thought had died after years of excellent service (turns out it was only the power supply). i selected this based on the range amplifier since my connection needed to reach 5 floors down then into a garage. i achieved this connection for years with the Hawking HWREN1 and the Linksys SRX400. well needless to say the HAWNR3 was a complete failure for this task. it would CONSTANTLY drop the signal and lose internet connection. i called tech support and upgraded the firmware. i finally go so frustrated with that i took the power supply from it and reconnected my SRX400. now all is well again. this router does fine for easy connections. but the range amplifier is definitely not up to the task it claims. Cons: I should have bought two. Other Thoughts: This was a gift for my parents that own an older ranch style house that is mostly brick. The router was installed in the far back of the house for video steaming to the living room at the opposite end of the house. This router has blown away my expectations as I was able to get five full bars of reception on my phone, and it streams video as if I were connected via LAN. Awesome product! No pros to the router. Cons: The Hawking no-help India desk said the no wireless conection is an HP printer problem and to call them. Its sad to see blaming other vendors is still in use.
