5 out of 5 eggsGood low cost router.

Pros: Well made and seems to send strong
signal to computer in another room
35 feet away. Excellent help from
the Hawking technical representative with the setup procedure.

Cons: None that I have noticed so far -
maybe some better instructions
for someone new to networking.

Other Thoughts: The default IP address of the router had to be changed to avoid
a conflict with the IP address of the
modem and the ISP. I had to get help
from Hawking to get it running.

4 out of 5 eggsWould be a 5 if the wireless had more distance and would connect

Pros: The router is a pretty good and cheap item that was worth the price, especially with the $5 rebate.

Cons: None of my wireless equipment would connect to this router at all. Eventhough the router is not even 15 ft away. Hooked the wireless equipment to my main desktop and it wouldn't even connect with it being inches away. It probably needs a signal booster or something.

Other Thoughts: Great router. It definitly sped up my internet connection. Because my DSL modem had a router built into it, the speed and bandwidth was anything but steller. Now that I got the router and disabled the modems internal router, my connection speed and bandwidth had definitly picked up.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great sometimes. Wired connection works fine when it is working. Nothing to get excited about.

Cons: Drops signal. Can't be picked up from very far away. Needed to be reset fairly often (every couple days). I use the internet a lot so I upgraded to a quality router. The new one (netgear) blows this out of the water.

Other Thoughts: Fine for casual use. Spend the extra bucks for a better router if you use the internet much, especially wireless.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for buck!

Pros: Works great in my mostly cement dorm room and hall! Its transfer speeds and connectivity through a cement building is great. Only covers a 30 ft radius inside the building but in normal homes it covers a good 50 ft radius. Great performance to cost ratio!

Cons: Does not come with many powerful features in setup. Such as DMZ.

Other Thoughts: Lightweight and adjustable antenna (like most)

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for 2 days

Pros: It worked and was easy to set up

Cons: it only worked for a day then it started dropping connections. newegg set up rma.

Other Thoughts: this in the sendond router, ive bought this month , first belkin bought somewhere else never worked, so this is 100% improvement over that. I have a buffalo router that works well, but i cant access it to change setting , vista doesnt even see it, but it works, with cable

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Router

Pros: Unboxed, hooked up, voila, it works! In fact it works better than the more expensive, better known brand name I had before. Web interface straight forward. Range shows no drop off from one end of the house to the other & I have a big house. Customer support from Hawking is fast & excellent!!! Shipping from the Egg was quick.

Cons: Zero

Other Thoughts: For the price & quality I see compared with the big guys you can't lose.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor choice

Pros: It worked for 2 days.

Cons: Stopped working after 2 days. Don't know why it doesn't work. Called Hawking a number of times and only one time did we successfully get it to work.

Other Thoughts: Just don't get it. Buy something else

4 out of 5 eggsGood product, fair price

Pros: This router is easy to set up and fairly reliable. After using mine at home for over two months, I bought the same model for a wireless network I'm installing for another family.

Cons: Momentarily drops the wireless connection from time to time. When I work from home, using the connection all day, it drops once every couple of days. When using it for just an evening, I hardly ever see it drop.

Other Thoughts: Good unit for the price. Great for home use. You could do better for business or gaming use where a connection drop is unacceptable.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth the money

Pros: This is a very low cost solution for a wireless router. Performance is about as expected for the price (reception is not as good as my 3 year old Belkin), but more than adequate.

Cons: I found the interface to be somewhat clunky in comparison to my Belkin. It's not the most beautiful product in the world. The default IP for the router is difficult to remember... I'm grasping for straws here. 4 stars because it is not exceptional, but definitely a good buy for the price.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to work with my brother's Wii. Works great.
