Pros: Great extension cable for applications below 1 ghz. Newegg return policy is great, as usual.

Cons: Not recommended for 2.4 ghz or 5.8 ghz wifi antenna cable.

Other Thoughts: Cable as received was stamped RG-213 which has the same outside diameter as standard LMR400 cable. The box said it was HDR400 low loss cable which should be the same as LMR400. RG-213 has high loss above 1 ghz and isn't recommended as a wifi antenna extension cable over 15 ft.

Pros: Used it for WiFi antenna.

Cons: System is working.

Other Thoughts: We installed a parabolic wireless antenna on one house and pointed it to another house to share 1 DSL connection. We used a Hawing range extender after reading about it in the packaging of this Hawing cable. The extender is used as a repeater inside the second house. Never tried this before and was not sure if it would work. But it did! My friends think I am a real techno-nerd now. The whole job cost about $160. Cable, antenna, mast and Hawing repeater. Also had to buy an adapter for the cable to Wi-Fi router antenna connector. Found it for $5.00 The labor was free. Here, DSL is $62 a month so this job will pay for it self very quickly

Pros: WOW! This thing is thick.. looks like great effort is put in making it. Its long ...longer than what I needed. Did I mention its THICK...

Cons: Its thick...thump size thick. The size could be a pro and a con. It depends how you look at it.

Other Thoughts: its a big cable...

Pros: The cable seems to be very high quality. The coating resists nicking while feeding the cable to it's destination. The connections have a professional feel and good craftsmanship. The ends use a heavy grade heat shrink that prevents water from getting inside the cable.

Cons: The cable can add some weight to your antenna mast. This is expected though and the quality of the cable makes up for it. With 30 feet length, I doubt it could be made much lighter anyway.

Other Thoughts: Would purchase again. I would also consider using the 10 foot version so that I don't get as much signal loss due to the length of the cable. So if you can get by with a shorter cable, it will pay off with a higher signal strength in the end.

Pros: Wow, what a great cable. No, really it's just a cable, but the fittings are sturdy and it is a very nice cable.

Pros: I'm impressed. Very thick cable and excellent weather resistant connectors. Hawking's prove to provide high quality products.

Cons: You might have to drill a bigger hole in the wall.

Pros: Has a tough outer layer, I threaded it through a steel enclosure with very little abrasion to the cable.

Other Thoughts: There was just one this that I was concerned about when purchasing; the product description and manufacturer's data says "n-plug to n-plug" which sort of makes it sound like the connectors on each end are identical. They are not identical, one is male (n-plug) and the other is female (commonly called n-jack), just as you would expect from an extension cable.

Pros: Very high quality, will probably outlast the antenna.

Cons: who really needs 30ft? would have prefered 20ft or 25ft.
