5 out of 5 eggsIt's too slow

Pros: It plugs in, I suppose.

Cons: None apparent.

Other Thoughts: This is an example of what can happen if you don't READ THE SPECS before buying something. I couldn't imagine anyone selling a card which didn't do 10/100/1000, so I didn't LOOK, and ended up with a card I can't really use, and which isn't worth returning. My advice: READ THE SPECS BEFORE YOU BUY! I gave it 5 eggs because my issues aren't due to the card. I've nothing against it. Probably works nicely. I noticed the problem once it arrived and I saw the box, checked my order, realized my error, realized the cost and return fees don't work, and stuck it in my closet. sigh.

Pros: This card is as simple as it gets. The onboard NIC I had went out, I popped this in, perfecto. Inexpensive product that doesn't skip on quality.

Cons: Virtually none.

Other Thoughts: Thanks, Rosewill! Long time fan.

5 out of 5 eggsExpected Results with this NIC

Pros: Card operates as expected

Good price

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is a standard ethernet card for a PCI slot. The price was on point and Rosewill is a brand that I can truly say I can stand behind.

5 out of 5 eggsReplaces dead mobo NIC

Pros: When the network interface on my motherboard died, I replaced it with a NIC pulled from a 98SE box. Linux and XP were OK with that, but Vista couldn't find a driver. (It offered to look for one online, bless its goofy little heart. Good luck with that.) So I decided I needed a more up to date NIC, and the Rosewill seemed to fill the bill at a very modest price. Vista accepted it, and now everyone is happy. Including the 98SE box.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The manual is a single page that doesn't mention anything later than XP.
