5 out of 5 eggswork as it should

Pros: my onboard NIC died so this is a replacement. It work as it should, windows 7 recognized it and automatically install the driver. For some reason, I think it is faster then the onboard even though they are both 1gb.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: for $10 this does what it's suppsoed to do.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cheap gigabit card

Pros: Cheap gigabit network adapter.

Cons: Not an intel chipset?

Other Thoughts: Have two of these in a pfSense box acting as my main router. One acting as the WAN connection, connecting directly to the Fios ONT via cat 6, the other as the LAN interface connected to a Rosewill 8-port Gigabit switch.

During the pfsense install, it recognized them, and set them up without any issues. If you need a cheap gigabit nic, look no further.

3 out of 5 eggsHit and Miss

Pros: Its cheap. Makes use of my PCI slots on the motherboard.

Cons: Unreliable. I bought two and only 1 works. There is something to be said about getting what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat speeds, great price

Pros: Works great on my gigabit lan. I have 4 of these running in enterprise atmospheres and none of them have bit the dust. I would recommend these in a heart beat.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth buying several

Pros: Easily installed, dirt cheap and functions great.

Cons: Discontinued: I liked this one so much that I wanted to buy another, but sadly it was discontinued.

Other Thoughts: I hope there's a newer version out there.... I still need another.

4 out of 5 eggsNot quite gigabit

Pros: -It's not too expensive
-Faster than ethernet

Cons: I say faster than ethernet because on my network (and in a crossover connection to my desktop) this card can only get up to around 250mbps using speedtest mini and from doing large file transfers.

Other Thoughts: If you absolutely require gigabit speeds look for something a bit higher quality, however this is still a pretty decent card for the money.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well, no hiccups.
Sustains 65-80 MBps easily.
Also cheap.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Driver CD has the drivers for seemingly every NIC rosewill makes, and the end user has to sort through the cd to find the correct ones.
