2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for.

Pros: Works.

Cons: Not fit for much else than light web browsing.

Disconnects randomly.

Other Thoughts: Wouldn't buy again, but for 13 dollars I got a working wifi card, so I'm not too disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Like A Charm

Pros: Installed without any problem or trouble. Had already downloaded the latest drivers and it installed without any trouble - I'm running MS W7 64bit Ultimate SP1 in case you are wondering.

Cons: It didn't install itself, lol

Other Thoughts: I prefer a card over a USB wireless devise, and my MB had an open PCI slot, so all it well. I've had no problems or trouble with it not connecting or dropping a connection.

1 out of 5 eggs  You get what you pay for

Pros: Easy to install, is internal, the price can't be beat.

Cons: The driver software is extremely outdated and looks like it belongs on Windows 98. The card likes to disconnect from my network frequently and sometimes likes to pretend that it isn't installed. When it does work, it can't get anywhere close to the speed of my network. I would seriously consider looking at more expensive cards.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work for windows 7

Pros: Probably would have worked okay with other operating systems but it doesn't work for Windows 7.

Cons: Overall this product barely worked. The connection was spotty and weak and the Wifi constantly was turning off for no reason and could not be turned back on until the computer was restarted. I contribute these issues to be due to compatibility with Windows 7.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks on XP but not Win ME

Pros: I have an old PC that is dual boot with Win XP and Win ME to run some old programs. I bought this card because it is one of the few cards that still has drivers for Win 9x. It plugged in and loaded the drivers for XP on the supplied disk and works fine in this mode.

Cons: BUT, I cannot get the card to install the drivers for Win ME. They only come in a self extracting Installshield package. The installation hangs very near the end of the process (progress bar at 100%). It could be a defective card, a driver conflict, I just can't tell. Tech support has not been able to help. They offer 3 solutions 1. Try again. 2. Wait longer for it to finish 3. Reinstall the operating system. I have tried 1) and 2) exhaustively, but I am not willing to rebuild the whole machine for this card. I have invested a lot of time trying with the usual technical tricks (clean boot, safe mode, switch PCI slots, roll back w/ system restore, but it's not working. There isn't a functioning uninstall either. I have asked tech support for a list of what files are installed, so I can manually hunt through the registry and driver files and uninstall it manually, but it's been about a week without an answer.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Easy to install...

Cons: Poor reception, poor this, poor that, poor everything. It can't keep a signal for more than a few seconds. The antenna it comes with is COMPLETE garbage. Luckily, I had another, better antenna laying around, but I still get poor link quality and poor signal strength 90% of the time.

Other Thoughts: With a different antenna, it's completely useable, but still not worth $20. The wifi cards in laptops work better than this thing.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the manufacturer and provided two email addresses. One was an RMA, the other tech support. I figured I try tech support first... Well, they replied back asking for a contact number. I told them they could email me and I would let them know if anything worked. That email was sent 2 weeks ago today and I have yet to receive a response. Since I already own 3 or 4 Rosewill products, I'm hoping that none of them have any issues... This is the last one I will ever buy.
