5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Seems to work a lot better than my laptop's internal 802.11n WiFi at SD Hulu, music streaming, and the Internet in general. Download rates for large files are significantly better.

Cons: Windows tells me the signal strength is typically only about 1 bar better, meaning I now have 2 bars instead of 1. I'm not sure what that means exactly. I'm not entirely certain how it has affected BitTorrent, but the ones that are slower to begin with probably haven't improved.

Other Thoughts: It doesn't look so bad but it fits in better hidden behind something...

5 out of 5 eggsMakes great AP under Linux

Pros: Using this thing plugged into a Raspberry Pi as my wireless router. Works great.

The range on this thing is amazing - I can get my wifi from a good 20 meters down the hall from my apartment.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: You'll need a firmware blob for this, and probably v3.2 or newer kernel, although I don't know for sure when master support was added. USB ID 148f:3572, uses the rt2800usb driver.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Reliable stability and speed. It's a second adapter purchased from Newegg, first one working more than one year with no any issues.

Cons: 1. No 5Ghz support under Windows 8.
2. Driver version on Rosewill website is outdated - May 2012
3. Can't registry product - registration is for US buyers only :(

5 out of 5 eggssolid

Pros: I've only used the 5G band so far, but it's pushing Broadcast HD quality (mythtv) video to my router fine.

Price was good, I have had pretty good luck with small Rosewill items, always seem to work decently.

Cons: Not quite the speeds I was hoping for, but I am going a bit of a distance and 5G isn't supposed to be the best at that, I should probably try the 2.4 and see if it's any better.

Other Thoughts: I have this connected to a Asus rt-n66u, that thing is a BEAST

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I was looking for

Pros: - Worked out of the box
- Picks up my wireless signal good. I am upstairs a decent ways away from my router and I still get very good signal and download speeds.

Cons: - None

Other Thoughts: I needed a adapter that I could place on my desk as I am not very close to my router. This is perfect, and has two antennas that pick up my wireless signal great.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Dual antenna, easy USB connection, dual band.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Got this to improve the wireless access to a computer at the far end of the house from my router. Immediately improved signal and internet access speed. If I have another computer that needs a USB wireless adater I would not hesitate to buy this again!

1 out of 5 eggsThe word of the day is don't

Pros: less then zero.

Cons: Very bad experience with this piece of "blank". Right off the bat they assume you have a small CD drive, so had to DL setup from their site. The junk did install on XP but totally failed on about everything else. You could tell the device was working so there wasn't a flaw where I could get my money back, it was just plain junk and I wasted 3 hours trying to make it perform after a connection was made not counting money lost.

Other Thoughts: I've built several high end computers from totally Newegg products and this is the very first time I have ever received something that was useless so that's not bad. The best place this would fit is in the trash and that is right where its going.

1 out of 5 eggsNo signal strength

Pros: Easy to install...plug in...I guess?

Cons: No signal strength.

Other Thoughts: I stepped on my RNX-N180UBE and broke it. Came to NewEgg to buy another but it was out of stock. Thought the RNX-N600UBE would be a suitable replacement but was wrong. Will be returning and buying the RNX-N180UBE when it is back in stock.
