1 out of 5 eggsBiggest piece of garbage ever

Pros: none, this thing is complete garbage. Stay away from this adapter.

Cons: I'm running windows 7, and it RARELY connects to 5GHz. When it does connect, gets 2mb download on speed tests on a 100mb internet connection.

When connected to 2.4GHz, the downloads/uploads are disgustingly awful.

I have all updated drivers, and I even reformatted my computer to start from a fresh install of windows, and it still did not work.

I've been trying to figure out how to fix this thing for a month, but there's no answer. This adapter sucks.

Other Thoughts: Stay away from this cheap adapter, all it will do is give you headaches and aggravation.

2 out of 5 eggsone of two

Pros: like I mentioned in my remarks to the other adapter as I purchased 2 of these. 2.4 band works great but bought this for the 5.0 already had adapters for rosewill single band still workin great. figured I take advantage of the 5.0 but they just don't work all my other devices with dulband work great but when using these dual band 5.0 is defective.

Cons: never been let down by rosewill till the purchase of 2 of these adapteres

Other Thoughts: super disappointed in rosewill

3 out of 5 eggsShocked

Pros: It's a rosewill. Always been satisified with there products. I've purchased many many products from Rosewill here on newgg. This has been my first disappointment. well as for pros great signal as for distance dual band my 2.4ghz band works great great downloads and speed. but very disappointed with the 5.0. All my devices with dual band get great speeds on the 5.0 except the computers I'm using the rosewill adapters. the 5.0 is reading 2mb ,5mb speeds ruled out my computeres and my router etc as my tablets and phone show 60 to 90 speeds on 5.0. very disappointed next step guess is returning. Rosewill please help

Cons: 5.0 band defective. I purchased 2 of these both the same. I have rosewill 1 band adapters still going strong bought these to take advantage of 5.0 speeds if I knew these were not going to work would have saved my money and stick to my old rosewill 1 band.

Other Thoughts: will return these for different brand unless rosewill can correct this, like I said first time a rosewill product has disappointed me

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposed to do.

Pros: The range is good as long as you have a good router to go with it. Plug and play with Windows 8.1. No complaints. Does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsNot happy with it...

Pros: I really can't think of any pros for this product.

Cons: Signal is awful, no matter what driver i install for Win8.1. My computer is located only about 40 feet from my Linksys E2000 router, and the signal is about 3-bars out of 5. Also, it was a hassle to get it to work properly with Win8.1, but when I finally did, I was disappointed at the performance. I also tried the 5GHz setting, which it saw my network, but wouldn't connect.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for the simple fact that I wanted to run my wireless network at 5GHz, but this device failed miserably. Maybe I got a defective device - IDK, but judging by reviews on Newegg and other sites, it's really a hit or miss with this adapter. It either works or it doesn't. I would return it, but it's not worth paying the shipping and my time to sent it back.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Range

Pros: Purchased two of these. One has crazy range!
The other has very good range. (Both using @2.4GHz.
5GHz works fast/fine but the range is poor which should be expected.
Priced right.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great for hacker conventions where you need several adapters scanning several channels/frequency's at the same time.

4 out of 5 eggsNice and Speedy.

Pros: Compact, and can be nailed to a wall to be kept out of the way thanks to the hole in it's design.
Two antennas make for free at signal strength.
5ghz connectivity works (see cons)
Uses USB mini, so having a cord for this thing won't be a worry.

Cons: My only problem so far is that the 5ghz band from my router doesn't get detected through the software for this adapter most of the time. I bought this to use the 5th, and when it works, gaming online is glorious.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill RNX-N600UBE

Pros: Very good 5GHz signal strength, range and speed, but Windows 8.1 needs the latest 2015 USB wifi driver from Mediatek (since they acquired Ralink, whose chip is used in it). I get the same wired internet speed of almost 100Mb/s over wifi at 5 GHz, at a fairly long distance from an 802.11ac router (speedtest).

Cons: 5GHz won't work with the provided driver in Windows 8.1.

Other Thoughts: 3x faster at 5GHz compared to 2.4GHz at the same location.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh...

Pros: Not really impressive. Range is ok. Nice to have a wireless AP that boosts the signal.

Cons: Not impressed. Going to probably sell this.
