3 out of 5 eggsworks but drops Mbps

Pros: It works out of the box and installs easily.

Cons: The software didn't work well with my windows 8, but the automatic drivers work fine. The speed dropped from 30 to 20 Mbps just going 25 feet away.

4 out of 5 eggsokay ..

Pros: Works ..
easy install
speed is pretty good if you are in range

Cons: range

Other Thoughts: i changed the stock antenna to one thats 7dbi to get 3 bar over 1 floor .. but it came with the WD hard drive so there is really nothing to complaint about ..

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: I originally bought this for my PC so I could free up a USB port and have internal wifi adapter. Turns out there wasn't enough room in the PCIe slot next to my vid card. Ended up giving it to a friend so he could use it in his machine. He says he gets great speeds and hasn't had any issues with it.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsUsed in Custom Build

Pros: I purchased this product unsure of how well it would perform based on a number of different reviews. Let me say, I have no complaints. I'm a good 20-25 feet from my router and I get 4 bars out of 5 for signal strength. I have never been kicked off and it works fine for gaming as well.

Cons: I'm getting 4 bars at 20-25 feet and I'm not in the same room as my router which is pretty darn good for such a cheap router. I don't know if this adapter would hold up at any more length than that though. It would probably only get 2-3 bars if my desktop was more than 30 feet from the router. I wouldn't recommend this adapter for anyone looking to be over 30 feet from their router but I bet it would still get descent signal strength. I wouldn't throw more than 10 bucks on a wireless router anyone since you can always just go wired. I think I paid like 8.99 for this... Who can complain.

Other Thoughts: Buy this if you are on a budget and smart with your money.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent value

Pros: Good reception, speed, and crazy easy install.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: When these are on sale under $10 it's a no brainer. I'm on about 8 of these so far and haven't had a single issue yet. Download speeds are as fast as any other adapter I've used which makes me wonder what you're really paying for when buying the much more expensive models. Your internet speed is only as fast as the service you pay for and your modem/router, and this picks up all of my max speeds with plenty of range.

Installation on Win 7 couldn't be easier. Turn off machine, plug in motherboard, turn machine on, drivers download automatically and you instantly have high speed internet. Great value and all you really need.

1 out of 5 eggsIts not that great

Pros: for the price its not too bad and it comes with drivers....thats about it

Cons: very poor signal normaly very weak with a few "spikes" im about 20 ft from my router. really slow - im lucky to get 200KBs on a 802.11n connection when the router allows for about 2.3MBs. I keep loosing the signal while im using it.

Other Thoughts: all in all im not very happy with it but you get what you pay for

if you can buy better, do it, this little card is not that great

1 out of 5 eggsnot a good card

Pros: cheap and low profile.

Cons: drops signal all the time. it's getting worse over time. I know it is the card too and not the router or location.

4 out of 5 eggsDoesnt Give Full Speed

Pros: PLUG & PLAY

Cons: Does not give full speed.

My average speen on any laptop in any range from my router is 14.?? Mb/s (megabits per second).
??= above 50

With this I get the most 12.99 Mb/s (megabits per second). That is a big difference if you ask me

Other Thoughts: If you are interested its on a msi gd65 30 feet away from router with a couple of walls in between. I get 3 Bars.
After installing the device I ddi a speed test then I saw that it was maxed at 12Mb/s I didn't think anything of it since I still had to install the driver (from rosewil website) speed is same after driver.
