4 out of 5 eggsGood sound, software could be better

Pros: Sound quality better than my on board Realtek audio (with some work).
Comes with low profile bracket.

Cons: Basic drivers are somewhat easy to install. Interface could be better. Win 8 install issues but I none on Win 7.

Other Thoughts: Using this card due to on board Realtek audio dyed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Never had any problems with it. Works as expected.

Cons: Didn't quite fit. Both of the metal brackets that came with it didn't fit. So I just took it off. Not quite bad enough to lose an egg though.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Wireless Adapter

Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to do, without even needing a manual driver install (I'm running windows 7). The adapter card is low profile, and the antennae can be rotated or bent to fit comfortably with neighboring PCI slot behemoths (I'm looking at you, graphics card!). The wireless router is two walls and about 30 ft. away, and it's never been noticeable that tell I'm not hardwired with Ethernet.

Cons: None so far.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed after 2 months

Pros: When it worked it was fast and provided me with a great connection to my router.

Cons: Stopped working after two months.

Other Thoughts: I know that tech can go bad after a short time or last forever, but one expects to get more than a month or two from their purchase.

2 out of 5 eggsLots of issues

Pros: Looks nice comes in a cool box.

Cons: Ive got the correct drivers installed on windows 8. Hooked into pci1 Perfectly Connected to my network. Utility is a joke it says "IEE802.11 WLAN Disconnected" Cannot be swiched. Stays connected for a minute then error comes up again. Does not work with windows 8.

1 out of 5 eggsWindows 8 Compatible? Haha no.

Pros: It came with an optional low-profile bracket and 3 pretty antennae.

Cons: It absolutely does not work at all with Windows 8. I've tried the drivers from the CD that shipped with it, used a different wireless adapter to get the latest drivers off their website (which also only list being compatible up to Windows 7). I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, reseated the card, and even tried several different PCI ports leaving the back of my case riddled with open slots now.

The end result? Still no connection. Hell I can't even get the device "enabled" in the device manager. It just keeps saying: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31). And of course it says this regardless of how many times I've installed, and reinstalled the drivers. I've tried rebooting, I've even tried letting Windows Update install the "latest drivers" and that doesn't even work. I've yet to even connect to my wifi with this thing.

So yeah, Windows 8 support seems pretty nonexistent. Thanks for wasting my time Rosewill.

5 out of 5 eggsThree Years Strong

Pros: It's done everything I've ever wanted it to. My computer is in the basement about 40 Ft away from the router and I still get full Signal Strength. It has work absolutely amazing For three years now and I couldn't be more pleased. I would recommend this to anyone.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Buy it.

Even if you read other reviews about people bad mouthing this card. It's completely worth it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Compact, great speeds and range, no hassles with installation.

Cons: Doesn't make very good coffee.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace a USB adapter and was very impressed with how efficient it is. Not exactly sure why it has 3 antennas instead of 2, but it's nothing to dock an egg over.
