5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING!

Pros: GREAT! high speeds (consistently 80mbps a good 60 feet from the router through several walls) Rarely ever dropped connection, and super reliable

Cons: once in a while one would overheat and stop responding and in that case unplugging it for about 2 minutes would remedy the problem. and that happened VERY infrequently but worth mentioning

Other Thoughts: I bought 3 of these for $7 in 2010 and i wish i would have bought 100 of them they are the best Wifi card i have ever used hands down. wish they were still available today

1 out of 5 eggsbad. don't buy.

Pros: cheap

Cons: terrible speeds

Other Thoughts: I bought this thing on sale for $7 and I guess I shouldve figured it would be a cheap piece of garbage. It doesn't get anywhere near even g wireless speeds on the n network. The signal strength is fine and the device it's connected to is probably only 10 feet away but it can barely hold the connection.

3 out of 5 eggsFalls Apart

Pros: The software features that came with the dongle were actually pretty nice. And the speeds were fast as advertised at a range or about 20 feet with a wall and foot traffic as the only "obstacles"

Cons: I moved this device between two different PCs from time to time. Turns out the device itself was pretty flimsy and actually came apart when removing it from the USB port. Instant death. I ordered a different USB wireless adapter from a different manufacturer and it works just as well and doesn't appear to be nearly so flimsy.

Other Thoughts: If you plan on removing the dongle a lot, I'd rethink selecting this device. Otherwise, I don't see any other glaring problem with it.

5 out of 5 eggsworks perfectly

Pros: Does its job perfectly at a great price point

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I own three of these, they have never given me a single problem. Low price, low profile means they dont risk getting in the way and you can simply plug it in and forget its there. If you just need something for a laptop that had its network chip go out or a non-gaming rig needs wireless, this works flawlessly.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Vastly superior than my laptop built in WIFI adapter. Helps me stay connected with my WIFI router. Works with no hassles . Just set it and forget it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Since most of my computers at home are within range or the wireless router. it helps me get rid of some LONG Ethernet cables

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work on anything

Pros: Small form factor, decent build for inexpensive price

Cons: Originally had this installed to use on my work desktop - which it had worked for a few months, then decided to not connect at all. Took it home to try out on my home desktop build - which worked briefly as well and then decided to not work at all - then assume-ably the software caused my original wireless card to no longer connect - so reformatted my desktop build and for good measure, tried it on the new build (win 7 64-bit) with no luck connecting to an AP which is less than 10 ft away.

Even my old 802.11B card is able to connect to the AP.

I am never using Rosewill products unless they are strictly mechanical.

Other Thoughts: Thoroughly disappointed - especially with all the positive remarks that I had read prior to purchasing it.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor reception/signal

Pros: Small and cheap.

Cons: Doesn't hold the signal very well, other brand dongles of similar size seem to work much better in the same computer.

Other Thoughts: In use about 30ft from wireless router and it drops the connection constantly. There is no tweaking you can do, so all I can assume is that either I got a bad unit or they all are poor. I purchased a competitors product and had no trouble in the same computer, port, and distance.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth The time

Pros: Small

Cons: No Windows 8 support. It installed with the default Win 8 driver but Rosewill doesn't have a driver for it. It was very slow connecting at a max 60mps even when 2 feet from the router.

Other Thoughts: Was cheap only 10 bucks, so its not worth the cost of returning it.

1 out of 5 eggsI am a Rosewill Fans, but not for this product.

Pros: It is small.

Cons: The adapter itself couldn't be recognized by win7 (At least in my case), that is fine. The signal is simply weak and not steady. I think the signal lost in about 40-50 feet.

Other Thoughts: I get the Rosewill RNX-N180UBE after this failure product. That works like a charm.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill RNX Mini Wireless

Pros: Load the software that comes with it and it works amazingly well for high bar connectivity. Have used and installed about 6 of these from laptops to desktops, servers, and have had good service from all of them.

Cons: None so far
