1 out of 5 eggspc to ps3 streaming = fail

Pros: lots of options, cheap price, good connectivity

Cons: I have uPNP enabled and yet my ps3 and pc can't see each other. I had everything set up with my old router already working, but it simply doesn't work in the rosewill. I even put the old router back in, reconnected the ps3 and pc, and streaming worked. I put the rosewill router back in, both devices can connect to the Internet, but they can't see each other. If your counting on uPNP or DLNA, I'd look elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy set-up, good performance!

Pros: -good performance, easy set-up for an average joe who just wants simple functionality
-gives better performance than $80+ Belkin router--no random drop-outs yet :)

Cons: -Manual should mention upfront that once you connect you will be prompted with username/password (it is mentioned later on)
-wish there was new firmware notification

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problemo

Pros: Excellent price. Worked great out of the box. Is in a small apartment, so no problems with signal strength. Has worked flawlessly for about 2 months now. What more do you want?

Cons: black color clashed with my decor, so I put it behind the printer to conceal it.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried any WiFi N devices, just one WiFi G laptop and my smartphone.

1 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for....

Pros: N speed... Cost... Easy enough to set up. Fast RMA approval... (not really supposed to be under pros tho)

Cons: Bought this on 7/7/2010... Started dropping connection on 8/16/2010... Lasted a little more than the replacement warranty from newegg...

Other Thoughts: I have other rosewill products and dont have issue's with them. This router has all the features you want for very little money too bad I think you get what you pay for.. RMA'd for repair. I will see how long it last after I get it back. Too bad I could have spent a little more money in the beginning.. now that I have to pay to ship it back. That money could have went for a more reliable router. I cant say that I wouldnt buy another rosewill product cause so far they have been helpful and my other rosewill items havent had issues, but it will make me think about future items I buy.

4 out of 5 eggsInexpensive WIFI

Pros: Reliable wifi, small form, okay signal strength through out a 1200 sqft house, and no problems over the 6 months that I've owned it.

Cons: Setup was kind of a pain. Had to go through setup several times to get it to accept the new settings. Once it accepted them, no problems.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value, poor documentation

Pros: Very good price for a wireless-N router. Feature rich. MIMO. Simultaneously support AP+WDS. Easy to use web base interface with lots of options in in setting.

Cons: Poor documentation. A little bit warm.

Other Thoughts: I need to make my network media player wireless. Instead of buying a USB wifi dongle, I got this router and use it as an AP. I have 4 wireless-G routers running dd-wrt in WDS mode at home to avoid running CAT5 in the house. This router uses a RealTek instead of Broadcom chip, but it bridges well with the Broadcom routers in b+g mode. This router serves the purpose well and there are additional ethernet ports for my network drive, and for my future TV/BluRay with ethernet ports. This way, I don't need to buy wireless dongle for each device. The included quick installation guide is useless unless you really know nothing about networking and just want to set it up the simplest way. The full version manual online is better, but it still does not cover the details of different modes. Nevertheless, it is so easy to make changes in the settings on the web-based interface that I got the setting I need after a few trials. The firmware shipped is 1.4.01 while the 1.4.03 was released last week.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: inexpensive, works great (w/ upgraded antenna that was laying around)

Cons: there are 8 lights on the front BUT NO INDICATION WHAT THEY ARE FOR!

prolly due to sloppy workmanship/QC @ the factory ... somebody forgot to stick the label on them, somebody else didn't notice.

Other Thoughts: I tried to keep the annoying cosmetic defect from my review but it sure doesn't fill me w/ any confidence that I will be free of problems resulting from any other stupid assembly errors in the future.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -low price
-wifi-N
-4 ports

Cons: -simple config page
-device list only shows IP, no hostnames

Other Thoughts: the Config page is very basic.
router assigns IPs consecutively. my old linksys assigned them randomly.
device listing will only show IP's, no hostnames, so it took me longer than usual to install a network printer.

haven't tested wifi-N in comparison, nor do i care that much. this is an upgrade from wifi-G, so for $20 i'm happy that it works.
